Kyu jumped into the air above Flayk's attacks, firing a series of large energy balls at the rogue Hermalyan. Flayk casually knocked the first two away, and let the third catch him in the shoulder to reveal that it could do him little harm. In the time it took for Flayk to deal with Kyu's attack, Tommy and Shaoten were safely past Flayk's previous projections and ready to charge. Tommy raised his saber over his head, a red streak of light extending along and past the blade as he swung it downward. Flayk was able to dodge this, but he was opened for Shaoten's charging heelkick. Fortunately for Flayk, Shaoten's attack wasn't at its best after the last few hits she had taken and his balance was only slightly obstructed. This was enough though for Tommy to run in and connect a roundhouse to Flayk's side, sending him into the wall with a minor explosion. Despite this, Flayk came back, now facing the opposite end of the chamber where Scorpina was the figure that stuck out most.
Kejek was struggling to get a good position from which to use his abilities, but Scorpina hadn't taken her attention fully away from him--at least, not until one of the putties returned her sword that Kejek had liberated from her moments earlier. Kejek quickly took the opening and fired another stun bolt, but it caught a putty in the Z emblem on its chest. The putty flew back and lay glowing on the ground until it finally shattered and disappeared along with the rest of its fallen comrades.
There was a distant sound like thunder that was hardly audible over the noise of the putties and the fighting in the chamber, but it took Scorpina's attention. She aimed her sword at Adam and fired a stream of energy at him, knocking him back into the remaining putties. She then turned and moved for the exit, the others in the room preoccupied by the fights in progress.
*****
Goldar was already in a difficult predicament: though he wasn't at the center of the fire attack that Wolfstar had released, it was still enough to force him to retreat several feet. Goldar gave a low growl, but managed to send a burst of fiery energy from his eyes at Wolfstar before the fire attack had completely discipated. The attack was hastily prepared, though, and it did little to the Arancar who now wore the rings of power.
Goldar was bought a little more time as Scorpina and a pair of putties--one of which seemed to be carrying a (probably stolen from a freedom fighter) toolbelt over one arm--approached from behind, giving Scorpina cover to fire a stream of energy from her sword at Wolfstar's back. Goldar took the brief chance to repair his fighting stance to continue the battle.
*****
Earth's sky was just as violent as the surface, as a group of gray jet-sized vehicles was rushing after something that couldn't be seen clearly from the ground. Within a few feet of the red energy blasts that were flying from the wings of the fighters, though, it was possible to see the figure in red riding a surfboard-sized glider of the same color that was dodging the attacks and rushing toward some as yet unclear goal below. Finally the glider swooped down and made a tight turn before coming back up, arriving between two of the fighters that were in pursuit. The fighters flew close to one another to try and get in an attack, but the glider rose quickly up and away as the fighters collided and spiraled out of control.
Once it had made enough distance from its pursuers, the glider was able to streak downward a considerable distance before its rider was able to jump off and land agilely on the earth below.
"Not going anywhere important, I hope?" Darkonda seemed to appear from nowhere, shortsword in hand. "Darkonda..." the red-clad one said with mingled shock and disgust, "You can't be here..." "In that case this won't hurt a bit!" Darkonda said with amusement, thrusting his blade at the red one, who drew forth a screw-like saber to block. "I don't know how you've returned," the newcomer said as he blocked Darkonda's attacks, "But you won't win!" He made a low roundhouse, but Darkonda jumped aside, catching his opponent with a shallow slash to the arm. "You\'re plenty rusty," Darkonda mocked, "And you couldn't have picked a worse day to appear on this planet." The red one spun and brought up his saber to block Darkonda's next attack. "I am now the monark of all evil, and I intend to hear you call me king before I leave!" "In your dreams!" The red one kicked Darkonda's feet out from under him and then backhanded him into a near fall. Darkonda caught himself, but his opponent was already fleeing to the west. "I don't give up as easily as others," Darkonda jeered, extending a hand toward his prey. Just then, Elgar appeared in front of him, interrupting his attack. "... What are you doing? I nearly had the red ranger!" "Sorry about that," Elgar said casually, bringing up his hands, "But we found these when checking the house near the last battle." Elgar opened his hand to reveal a small box. "There'd better be something useful in there," Darkonda said menacingly, the tip of his blade now wavering near a direct alignment with Elgar's mid chest. "Our scanners seem to think so," Elgar said, "But they look like a pair of ear rings to me. Look like they might be worth a lot though!" Darkonda snatched the box from Elgar's hand. "Mystical ear rings..." He looked in the box thoughtfully. "Hah, excellent! If these are what I think they are... I may decide not to throw you into space after all..."

OOC: Nope, I like it. As long as you have something in mind.
Oh... and I'm borrowing Zedd for a moment, but I'm pretty sure you had it set up this way, so let's roll.
***
"Looks like they're holding in there, Zeddy," Rita said, slightly angered as she gazed upon the Earth using her telescope in the Moon Palace. "I think we need some more firepower down there."
"Blast!" Zedd cursed as he whirled his staff around angrily for a second. "Can't that stupid monkey do anything right? And to think, I gave that bumbling baboon his wings back..."
Manah laughed as she pranced around. "Shall I go play too? I would like to," her voice suddenly went deep again "meet this Chaotic. The Watchers... they wait!"
"There will be time for that later," Lord Zedd growled as he pointed his staff toward the Earth. "I'm not out of tricks yet! Sometimes you just need the right tools of the trade."
***
White lightning rained down upon the tool belt, prompting the putty to throw it on the ground and jump back. With a flash of evil energy, the tools mutated into a humanoid monster that stood roughly six feet tall with a head shaped like a tool box. In one hand, he held a weapon that had a clawed hammer head on one end and a wrench opening on the other, hefted easily onto his shoulder by his muscular arms. "Time to construct some destruction! Hi, my name is Tooldrak!" he called out as he threw himself at Cyba, blindsiding him in the torso with the hammer end of his weapon.
Cyba was thrown back near Wolfstar, landing in a heap. "We're kinda not doing so well anymore," Cyba muttered as he lifted himself up, noting that four powerful enemies stood boxing them in. "I'm so glad I got out of bed this morning..." he added sarcastically.
"If you spent as much time fighting as you did whining and making wise cracks, the Unifyer would be bowing to you already," Wolfstar snapped as he reached for the handle of his zanpaku-to. "Nah, I'm not giving you morons the pleasure of seeing my true power... How about I take green and gruesome and that golden woman and you settle up with monkey boy and blockhead."
"Whatever works!" Cyba replied as they instantly split apart, with Cyba rushing directly at Goldar. Goldar lashed out with his sword, which Cyba fended off by creating his signature energy sword. They clashed once or twice before Cyba fired an energy blast directly into Goldar's torso, then turned suddenly to block another blow from Tooldrak's hammerstaff. Additionally, Putties began to break into the fight, creating a sea of gray bodies and mind numbing babbling as Cyba fought to maintain his freedom.
***
Wolfstar called on lightning as the hybrid monster rushed at him, striking the ground between the two of them to buy himself time as Scorpina came in to attack. "I hate to hit a lady," he told her as he jumped to the side to avoid a sword slash, "but you're probably a b*tch anyways." He grabbed the sword's blade with his bare hands, then flicked his wrist, twisting her like a corkscrew while he threw her back. He released the sword, his hands bearing no injury, due to Arrancar's tough skin known as 'Hierro.'
The hybrid monster latched on to him with its tongue, wrapping Wolfstar up in a tight binding. "Goth youw nouw, Awwancaw!"
"You should make sure your food isn't so hot in the future," Wolfstar laughed. "Wouldn't want you to burn your mouth!" Another ball of fire engulfed the Arrancar, forcing the monster to let go instantly. "Man, you guys just can't win today, can you?"
"You are fooling no one," Scorpina told him as she kicked him the head, following up with a quick sword slash toward the shoulder. He stopped the sword with the palm of his hand, but brought the other hand up to rub his head before using it to elbow the sword, breaking it. "I don't need a weapon to defeat you!" She struck him twice in the jaw while the hybrid attacked him with an energy-based attack.
After the energy receded, Wolfstar rushed out of the debris cloud, reaching in to the hybrid's mouth with one hand while swiftly using his zanpaku-to to cleave it from his body. "Tch. I've gotten tired of this," he said, whipping blood away from his face, blood that leaked from a cut on his forehead, near his partial Hollow mask. He resheathed his weapon as he took a fighting stance once more. "I've got a crystal to steal, so let's not drag this out much longer."
***
OOC: I hope that's all good. Yeah, they definitely won't be able to keep this up once it's big monster time.

"I could help you destroy this barrier if the magic-binding aspect of it were removed..." Kikyo mused out loud, hoping to grab the attention of whoever it was out there. During her long stay in the cell, she had noticed that the barrier had several different levels of binding to it. The first was, of course, to bind magic so she couldn't get out. The second one, on the other hand, was to guard against any sort of ki, which served to prevent Gotenks and Goton from saving her. The third one she noticed was to block any kind of dimensional warping. Whoever had made the barrier was nothing less than a genius at their work.
"Everything else about this barrier could be easily destroyed once that's removed..."

OOC: Meh... ***** Amid the confusion created at Scorpina's departure, the fights quickly became more scattered and eventually degenerated into 'mere' chaos. It was now only a matter of time before the remaining putties in the room would be defeated, but that didn't stop the sudden disorder. Kyu, Shaoten and Tommy found themselves separated from their opponent as there were a few flashes of light through the room, the freedom fighters attempting to regroup to come up with a plan of action. The sudden shift in attackers was cause for confusion. There was, in addition to the distant pops and explosions of battle, a sudden wave of thunder, soon to be followed by the sounds of very large feet impacting the ground, the shadows of some of the giants visible from the broken entrance of the Resistance Base. Goldar charged a burst of energy into his sword, creating just enough of an explosion to make room between himself and Cyba. Scorpina jumped back from Wolfstar so that she, Tooldrak and Goldar formed a sort of curve, and then the lightning came from above. First Scorpina and Goldar grew in size, coming to tower no less than thirty feet above the ground. Scorpina's body changed in addition, a whip-like tail of some sort snapping out of sight as she stretched her arms. Next, a grenade-like object fell from the sky and landed in Tooldrak's hand. In one quick motion, the tool-creature primed the grenade and slammed it into the ground, a shockwave of energy climbing up its body as he too grew to join Goldar and Scorpina. Tooldrak renewed the attack, slamming his hammer-staff onto a large hill that sat nearby, causing a ton of rocks and chunks of Earth to fly at those on the ground. ***** Kejek jumped to his feet and made his way through the chaos, heading for the easily-spotted figure in red with the star-shaped visor in his helmet. "This is nothing new," Tommy said when Kejek reached him, "It's Rita and Zedd's style for sure." Kejek ignored Tommy's words and grabbed his gloved hand, turning on the spot as space itself seemed to become a compressing cacoon around them. In a moment, Kejek, Tommy, Kyu and Shaoten were tumbling to the ground amid ruined buildings, some with trees seemingly thrown through them. "What's going on?" Kyu demanded as he got up. "There were at least two powerful enemies out there that just became giants," Kejek said with almost dark seriousness, "And another that was interested in taking the Zeo Crystal. We have three fragments of the crystal; we can't risk them taking them." "And what about the base?" Shaoten demanded, "You think they're just going to leave it and all the people there unharmed?" "I wish I could say yes," Kejek answered, "But no... we have to hope Cyba can protect them. If we're lucky, that cloaked warrior and his soldier won't help Rita and Zedd." "So we're just leaving them to luck?" Shaoten's lips were threatening to draw back in a snarl, her fists unconsciously coming up to a ready position. "It looks like we don't have a choice," Tommy said with a resigned sigh, "We can't let the Zeo Crystal fall into the wrong hands. I still think one of us at least should go back to help the others..." Kejek had stopped listening and was now running around the lot in which they stood, holding out his wand at various angles and muttering incantations as he went. "We won't have any trouble finding them," Kyu said, staring into the distance, "It's impossible not to sense all of that energy...!" "We can't fight them like this," Tommy warned, "We'll need something big to take on big opponents like Goldar and Scorpina." "Let's put it this way," Kejek said, "Even if you've got some giant robot in storage somewhere, continuing the battle is pointless. The Alliance Base is big; everyone there is trained to deal with this kind of emergency. I just hope Cyba's smart enough to not get himself taken out of the picture again so soon." "We can buy time!" Shaoten was nearly shouting, "Make openings, distract them... do something to give everyone a chance..." "Go ahead," Kejek said, pocketing his wand, "But if you leave this lot you won't be coming back in. only the Zeo Crystal and I can leave this spot and get back now." "Someone's coming," Kyu said suddenly, "But... not this way. Heading for the battle?" "They can't find us," Kejek affirmed, "Not for a while, at least." "Wait..." Kyu said suddenly, "That power seems like..." He looked toward Tommy. "Like you and the other guy..." "Another ranger..." Tommy looked into the distance as well. "But who..."

OOC: Yeah... so... a Wolfstar post is required before any other progress can occard. Occard? Occur! . Though, for Klidore... if that's going where I think it is, Kone most definitely knows something about Agteka, so... use that however you like? Actually, that means Kikyo would know plenty about Agteka as well... maybe even about whatever would be going on should we wind up there... Woah, and I just thought of a retro-reference for DBR... granted I don't think it'd make sense to anyone unless I decide whether GU follows from the online version or the 'Canon' version... (It'd mean though that I'd hav to use one of our the Watchers planets eventually...).

"Oh shit," Cyba muttered as he gaped up at the towering monsters ahead of him and Wolfstar. "Now what, chief?"
"We need to evacuate everyone from the base," Wolfstar told Cyba through gritted teeth. "They will destroy the mountain, and I don't need any more innocent deaths on my conscience. The problem is, if I leave to move them, these morons will crush you and take you back to Zedd, but if we both go, that mountain is gone."
A blue energy arrow pierced through a putty, tossing the gray monster at Goldar's feet. "Just leave that to us, Arrancar. We can hold them off while you open a gate to Hueco Mundo and evacuate the base."
"A Quincy?" Wolfstar asked as he saw the white robed man with a blue energy bow in his hands. On his right was another tall man, dark skinned and muscular, with a pure black coating on his right arm, and on his left was a red haired woman, standing calmly. "You sure you can keep them off of Cyba long enough for everyone to get out?"
"I said leave it to us," the Quincy snarled. "Chad, Orihime, you two ready?"
"This is ridiculous..." Wolfstar started as he prepared to leap at Goldar. Cyba grabbed him by the shoulders, forcing him to look into his eyes.
"Go. You trained me, so have some faith in your work. I won't even need those three. Go! Take care of the base!"
Wolfstar set his jaw tight, but nodded, turning toward the base to complete his new mission, leaving Cyba with the three newcomers. "I would ask who you are," he said as he powered up, taking in Chaos Energy and transforming back into his Chaotic state, "but we're a little pressed for time. Just do what you can, and try not to get hurt."
Just then, Goldar unleashed a burst of energy from his eyes, aiming it directly at Cyba. "Santen Kesshun, I reject!" Orihime yelled, releasing three bursts of light from the hair clips she wore. The zipped in front of Cyba, forming a triangle of protective energy and preventing any harm to come to the Saiyan.
"We can handle ourselves!" the tall man, Chad, replied as he punched his black arm into the air, his fist facing the hybrid monster. All at once, a massive burst of energy discharged, striking the creature and knocking it back a bit, causing the ground to shake much like an earthquake. However, it did not appear to do any damage.
Goldar roared with laughter. "You humans can't do anything against us! We are simply too mighty for you puny beings!"
"Chaos Wave!" Cyba shouted in the midst of Goldar's celebration, launching one of his signature attacks at the gold-clad monkey. This attack seemed to do more than Chad's energy attack, but still did minimal damage. "This isn't working!"
***
OOC: It's crap! Um... let's hope this helps?
***
Flayk prepared to leap at Adam, in an attempt to steal a fragment or two of the Zeo Crystal, but Wolfstar appeared in between the two before it could happen. "Master?"
"We're leaving," Wolfstar told him. He raised his voice. "People of the Resistance Base... Cyba will not last long against the onslaught brought on by Lord Zedd. I offer you a chance to live, no strings attached. We must be quick, but if you wish to make it out alive, you need to follow Flayk into this portal." He flicked his wrist, which created the effect of the air in front of him opening up in vertical bars, revealing an opening to another dimension. "We will be temporarily safe in Hueco Mundo, and it will allow to prepare for the next move."
***
OOC: Ok, so... have the PRs react however... assume that Wolfie will help keep Putties out of the portal, and that he won't make an attempt on the Zeo Fragments.

*****
"... Something strange is going on." The red-clad one stopped and flipped open a device on his wrist. "Deka, can you scan the battlefield and send me a readout?" An autimated female voice spoke from the device with "Affirmative", and after a few seconds the red one closed it again. "What a mess... and now half of the Zeo Crystal just vanished... if only I could contact someone...." He started moving again in the direction of the battle between Cyba and Zedd's forces. "In a hurry?" The figure stopped, confronted with Kyu and the still-morphed Tommy. "Yes; Rita and Lord Zedd have sent down a team of monsters and..." "We just came from there," Kyu interrupted. "... Are you who I think you are?" The red one asked, looking at Tommy. "Zeo five, power down," Tommy said as a red glow ran along his body, the disguise disappearing with it. "And it is Andros in there, right?" "Yes," the other red ranger answered, "Tommy... just the person I needed to meet." "You know each other?" Kyu asked "Slightly," Tommy explained, "But we've not had much contact; he's from K-O Thirty-five. I'm not sure what went on out there when Hermalya attacked Earth." "It's much bigger than Hermalya now," Andros stated gravely, "A being known as the Unifier has been gaining support throughout the universe." "We've heard about that..." Kyu said. "Not me," Tommy added. "We should deal with the monsters first," Andros suggested, "I've got the megaship in orbit..." "People are ... evacuating?" Kyu said, suddenly confused, "Like... ... just... disappearing? And... I don't know what I'm sensing... but... it's... not of this world." "I'll bet our cloaked friend has something to do with that," Tommy agreed, "And those monsters came looking for something... not just the Zeo Crystal... otherwise they wouldn't have been outside. So it looks like Cyba and our intruder friend will be able to keep them from getting it. So Andros... what brings you to Earth?" "I've been doing undercover work on Onyx," Andros explained, "It's been my best source of information on the Unifier's underlings. But not too long ago I noticed something odd. Someone that worked with the Hermalyans on Earth showed up there not too long ago, and after a while someone identical to him appeared out of nowhere and started talking to him over a game of cards." "Doesn't sound too suspicious," Tommy noted. "Well, no," Andros agreed, "But the new guy seemed to know things about what was going to happen here... everyone thought Cyba was dead, but you said he's fighting Goldar and the others? I couldn't hear much, but this guy knew Cyba was coming back, and then he handed a strange crystal to the first. The Onyx tavern is mostly shielded from scans, but since I was inside I got Deka to run some basic checks on the crystal." "And it was special enough that you came here?" Kyu said, raising an eyebrow. "It's from a portion of the east quadrant," Andros explained, "From the Esrevni galaxy. We hardly have any information on them, but Hermalyans don't just walk around with Esrevni crystals, and this one seemed highly important to something... something big." "We should head back and let you tell the others," Tommy suggested, "Or at least... everyone that's with the other Zeo fragments. We've got lots of people now, it seems, but we're so spread out..."

OOC: This probably isn't a good idea, but I want to post it anyway... ... And I'm seriously trying to get things moving so we can get Kikyo out as soon as possible... but it'll still take a couple posts... **** Thanks to Tommy carrying a piece of the Zeo Crystal, he, Kyu and Andros were able to return to the lot where Kejek had put up protective enchantments. Shaoten was pacing with a quiet ferocity, while Kejek was manipulating pieces of the surrounding ruins with his wand to try to construct something. It wasn't long before everything known to that point had been conveyed between those present. "Do you have any idea what they were up to?" Kejek asked when Andros had described the exchange of the Esrevni crystal. "He was very quiet when he handed over the crystal," Andros answered, "And after that he leaned forward to say something else. I'm pretty sure the entire scene was a coverup to give the crystal to the first guy, but he didn't seem to know what it was about either." "And what did these two look like?" Kejek continued his questioning. "They looked pretty much identical," Andros explained, "But I didn't get a good look at the second one from the front. The first had horns, reddish eyes. I don't think he had a tail or anything, though it looked like he'd been hit in the head recently." Kyu and Shaoten exchanged glances of slow understanding. "Nijam," Shaoten said, "I guess I didn't hit him hard enough." "... Nijam?" Kejek said in bewilderment, "You mean to tell me he's on another planet, now? You took out the RDF and Nijam's still walking around on some secret mission for the Unifier?" "I put all of my strength into that attack," Shaoten countered, "He's no RDF member, but he's no pushover." "I know," Kejek said, "Great... and I suppose he just flew there in a capsule ship?" "Are there any spaceships on Earth that can get to Onyx that fast?" Tommy wondered aloud. "I'm surprised Andros got here as quickly as he did," Kejek answered, "That ship of yours must have some awesome propulsion system. But let's think... If between Aro, Goten, Trunks and Yabu and some time matrix bullcrap most of the Hermalyan infrastructure on Earth was damaged or destroyed, would we have seen any evacuations on a super-fast ship?" "As quickly as Dad and the others dealt with the RDF," Kyu said, "I'd not be surprised." "So," Kejek continued, now twirling his wand thoughtfully, "That'd have been a rather large evacuation, one that the emperor would have had to have approved. And it would have included several people and supplies, and it likely would have taken as many with it as possible... maybe even evacuating people and resources from the RDF's headquarters during your fight. And something tells me Nijam's little bump on the head would have been healed." "He hasn't left the tavern since he arrived," Andros said, "And the only person that's seemed to be with him is the one that gave him the crystal." "You're... sure it was someone that looked like him?" Shaoten asked, "No ... blue?" "Of course!" Kyu's eyes widened in sudden understanding, "Remember? Shairo showed up outside of the Dragonball chamber and fused with Marakkas... but it wasn't really Shairo; Shairo was fusing with At! Remember what that fusion looked like?" "A shapeshifter..." Kejek held his wand and was tapping it on his knees, "Of course... even twins don't share the exact same battle scars. There was absolutely nothing you saw that was different about Nijam from the person that gave him the crystal?" "None," Andros replied, "But when he first appeared... I think you're right!" "Kyu, Shaoten... who was this Maroccas guy?" Kejek asked. "He was... not from earth," Shaoten answered, "And he was talking about the secrets of fusion... and..." "And being manipulated," Kejek finished. "He did say he saw Trunks," Kyu remembered, "But Trunks was with Cyba." "Trunks... Shairo... Nijam... Fusion..." Kejek waved his wand and drew a dragon in the air out of a ribbon of light. "And the Yasha-tabe! It all adds up... but to what?" "I take it this guy is up to something big?" Tommy interjected. "I'm willing to bet my wand that he's the reason that the dragon caught Katar," Kejek said, "No... the reason it was on Earth in the first place! I don't know if he expected it to lose its lunch and revive the UAE, but he had to have known that Zedd was coming back... and he must have picked up Nijam after the fight went to the RDF base. And he's been manipulating someone who apparently knows a lot about fusion... and he's used some kind of magic or his shapeshifting in general to allow himself to fuse with just about anyone... knows things... working for the Unifier... and if he got a crystal from across the universe... he's probably got some mad teleporting abilities." "If he's the blue guy that attacked us outside the base," Shaoten said, "He had a staff... a lot like the one the Emperor had when we grabbed Goton and Gotenks with the time matrix." "And where are Goton, Gotenks, and the time matrix?" Kejek asked, "And Marakkas? Anyone else you haven't told me about?" "A... woman helped Goton and Gotenks defeat Kupid," Kyu told him, "She used some magic attack on him. We haven't seen any of them since we headed to the base." "And the time matrix... that disappeared when Liquaro and Rani took Cyba's son to Hermalya," Shaoten added. "And where's he?" Kejek demanded, "The emperor's dead, I assume, seeing as I'm alive." "Cyba managed to defeat him," Andros confirmed, "That much has spread quickly. I've never heard of this time matrix you speak of." "Dad and Elohssa are with Trunks," Shaoten chimed in, "When they get back... we can ask Trunks what happened on Hermalya." "Or," Kejek continued, "We can see if Cyba's still around. But that's not the point... think about it. Fusion... some shady figure working behind the scenes and going across the universe to set up plots for the Unifier... Fusion... Unifier... Universe... and the Time matrix. We are so freaking screwed. He's way ahead of us!" "We just got out of Hermalyan control," Tommy said firmly, "And from the looks of it you guys have done some more fighting in the past day, and now we've got the Zeo crystal a lot more usable, and we've kept it from not just Rita and Zedd, but that cloaked freak and his invisible croney. And from the looks of it, your friends have done some good work offworld, and now we know how to find an important piece to this shapeshifter's plot. We've come through a lot; we've freed Earth, so we can find a way to outsmart this Unifier and save the universe!" "I don't know..." Kejek said, raising his wand again, "The Shapeshifter could have hidden that crystal anywhere... why'd he give it to Nijam? Even if he didn't expect a spy to find out... it's... strange." "Well, why don't we ask him?" Shaoten suggested. "I can arrange that," Andros said, "The megaship is in orbit, but I can bring it down to pick us up. But... the Earth..." "Earth isn't defenseless," Tommy said, "And if we bring the Zeo Crystal fragments with us... we might draw attention away from Earth. And if not... we can send people back, can't we?" "Instant transmission," Kejek nodded, "A few of our friends know that little trick. But... this still seems... wrong."

Goken killed him with an SSJ5 Kamehameha, remember? . . Umm, have a beam struggle of sorts? Like... Scorpina and Goldar pull out their combined beam of death and Cyba tries to deflect it, which buys time for the evacuation?

Goldar and Scorpina thrust their swords in the air, crossing the weapons in front of them. A fierce burst of lightning crashed down on Cyba, forcing him to create a bubble of Chaos Energy around him in an attempt to block it out. He managed to avoid damage, but the shielding sucked required a lot of strength to defend against such a powerful assault.
Just when Cyba thought the attack was over, a massive tongue the size of a large tree smashed down on him. He was stuck; couldn't even move his limbs as the tongue slowly rolled back up into the hybrid monster's mouth. The Quincy archer fired an energy arrow up at the retreating tongue, but it wasn't enough to force the monster to drop Cyba.
But Wolfstar appearing and brutally kicking the hybrid monster between the bulbous eyes was. Cyba crashed to the ground, noting that more of his Chaos Energy was stripped away from him while under his brief captivity.
"This is how lightning works," Wolfstar muttered as savage bolts whipped out around him, striking the four titans standing in front of him. "You two fools shouldn't use it if you can't do it properly." The huge monsters retreated slightly and tried to separate in an effort to escape the attack range. He poured on extra strength in the electric barrage as a destructive red light built up steadily in his enclosed fist, which he held up in front of him. Once released, the new attack smashed into the hybrid monster, forcing it to drop the ground. It was injured, but it was doubtful that it was defeated. Wasting no more time, Wolfstar darted to the ground, opening a portal to Hueco Mundo and shoving Cyba inside. "If you're coming, get in," he ordered the three humans.
"Go with an Arrancar?" the archer asked, narrowing his eyes from behind his glasses.
"Uryu, if we don't, we are dead for sure," the woman, Orihime told him.
"Let's go," Chad reiterated, taking the first step. The others followed close behind, Uryu grudgingly so.
"Tell Zedd that if he interferes in my work again, I will go straight to his base and kill him myself," Wolfstar called over to the four monsters as he closed the portal around himself.
Cyba grabbed Wolfstar by the collar of his white robes, glaring into his eyes. "If you could do all that against them, why didn't we stay and fight? You could have defeated them!"
Wolfstar let out a breath before knocking Cyba away. "Clearly, I did a horrible job teaching you, if that is what you think. Can you not feel that massive amount of energy I lost during that whole ordeal? I did not even manage to take down one of them. Sure, if we had stayed and fought, and I focused my strength, I could have taken a single one of them down. You probably could have taken one as well. But do some math, idiot, that would have left two to destroy us. We need a plan if we're going to seriously take on Lord Zedd, and it is going to need to be a damn good one."
Cyba scoffed. "What, so you're seriously with us now? After that speech about us being enemies now, and how I should not hold back against you?"
"Call it an alliance of convenience, if you will," Wolfstar shot back. "For right now, your enemy's enemy is your friend. But don't count on that past this current endeavor."

Considering how difficult it had been to get to the ground upon leaving the ship, the ease with which Andros led Kyu, Shaoten, Kejek and Tommy to it was nigh unnerving. Before they'd even entered, Andros had already been notified of the status of the battle with Zedd's forces; no doubt those present were more than above average to do as well as they had. "Finally a decent ship..." Kejek noted as the group stepped into the main deck. "Of course... it's been a few decades since my last space trip..." "Deka," Andros said, standing in front of a bank of equipment, "Has everyone escaped from the monster attack?" "Yes, Andros," an automated female voice answered, "Scanners indicate a successful evacuation; the location of the refugees could not be determined." "Nothing's stopping Rita and Zedd from taking over the Earth if we leave," Tommy said grimly when one of the displays showed Scorpina, Goldar, and two monsters regaining their bearings, the one with a toolbox-head slamming his weapon into the side of the mountain above the Resistance Base and sending chunks of earth flying. "One of those monsters was designed to capture Chaos Energy," Andros explained. "Chaos...?" Tommy asked. "Chaos energy," Deka's voice anounced, "Is a hypothetical type of energy based on converting areas of high entropy into a usable power source. Few areas in the universe are chaotic enough to be tested; no known attempts at harnessing chaos have been successful." "I take it you didn't see Dashyr get smashed by a chaos wave, then," Shaoten commented. "Chaos power was used during the battle," Deka confirmed, "Though its source cannot be traced." "I think Cyba's been through a lot," Kejek said, "And his arrival at the base was ... interesting to say the least." Andros pushed some more buttons on the device at his wrist and his ranger outfit and helmet vanished in streaks of light, leaving a human in a simplistic uniform standing in front of the deck's equipment. "How close are we to Klidore?" Shaoten asked. "Arrival at planet Klidore should take aproximately twelve point seven eight three hours," Deka answered. "We should try to figure out what Zedd is up to before we get too far from Earth," Tommy suggested. "Deka, can we get images from the Earth's moon?" Andros requested. "One moment," Deka replied. ... And then they saw the image of an enormous black serpent of a dragon, its claws between gold and silver, rising from the moon and drifting into space. "... Serpentera..." Tommy said gravely, "Apparently they got enough power to fly during the battle." "That's a ship?" Kyu asked, eyes twitching a little wider. "It's a war machine," Tommy answered, "And it was only ever taken down once... and that was with much better circumstances than we have now." "So they're leaving?" Kejek interrupted, "So does that mean they only stopped on Earth to pick up the Zeo Crystal or to leach some Chaos energy?" "I don't know," Tommy answered. "Darkonda's still around," Andros spoke up, "And it looks like he's got some velocifighters with him." "The United Alliance of Evil," Kejek nodded, "What a mess..." "Is there a way we can tell if the Earth falls under attack?" Tommy asked. "With any luck," Andros answered. "Is Klidore out of the way of Onyx?" Kyu asked, "If not... we might want to stop there and pick up the others." ******* OOC: Well, not much happened. My posts are way way too wordy. I think I'll leave it to Wolfstar to decide what happens with Klidore... but whatever it is, it needs to happen soon... And even though the megaship is really freaking fast, it still takes plenty of time to travel... so recovery is possible. I'm not sure about all the detours we're going to have to make, though... And I promise that Kikyo will be out soon! ...

OOC: I'm going to try for a Klidore post to set up things, since most of our people are going to have to sit around and regain energy and something has to be setup there for the story to advance... But I think I'll wind up having to use literary devices I don't like to make this work right.... ... Wow, this post is huge and useless.
*****
"... Insane..." Kairin was managing to stand despite all that had happened in the past day... everything that had just transpired around him was far too much to let him fall into unconsciousness again so soon.
All around were people... most of them insanely strong... and most weren't standing. Trunks... unconscious. Anoreha... deathly pale, even after Kone had closed her near-fatal wound from Clidax's blade. Shairo was struggling to keep his head up from where he sat, but it seemed that he wouldn't be able to remain awake for much longer. At was curled up on the ground, apparently incapable of remaining awake; Pahn and Goten both drained from their fight with Clidax. The man in the red and blue outfit seemed even more exhausted than Goku's family, and Yabu, Tratz and Elohssa completed the jagged shape made by the warriors, still standing, but clearly in need of recovery. That left Kone, Liquaro and Rani inside the ruins of the temple; Kone was now kneeling and looking away from everyone, either deep in thought or deep in prayer. Liquaro and Rani were standing for now, not as beaten as they had been in the ruins of the RDF base, but in a state rimonessant of their awakening after Satan Clawz's death just the same. And not too far from this gathering, Gohan and Miliardo were just as exhausted--Miliardo unconscious, and Gohan somewhere between consciousness and sleep.
... They'd done it again... They'd destroyed a major enemy base, taken lots of hits in the process, had managed to gather in the ruins, and were still no closer to anything. The Hermalyan empire's presence on Earth was mere pockets of survivors now. The Klidorian forces had been pushed back. And still, Earth wasn't safe! The Time Matrix was just as lost as it had been when Gotenks had shown up; there were still evil forces putting pressure on Earth far too constantly for Earth's Special Forces to fend off... and it had ceased to be important. Katar... in the belly of a dragon. Gotenks, Goton, Kikyo... missing. Cyba... had his energy been detectable? ... if it had, it was gone now. Nijam... on the loose, Lord Zedd and the United Alliance of Evil reeking havic, and above all of that... the Unifier... Clidax had mentioned someone above him... someone that wasn't the Unifier. And judging by his reaction when his father had appeared... it wasn't the man of fire. None of them had been strong enough to take down Clidax. It had taken all of them. And now, not only were there more scattered threats on a somewhat even playingfield... a hierarchy was starting to appear, and it still hadn't reached him yet. Mem Karostlous...
But Kairin didn't want to worry about him. Time was slipping away... and they were no closer to finding Katar. But here he was again, in the presence of some of the Earth's legends... those that he had stood with when the Darklings had first appeared... and they understood priority.
But it didn't matter, because for now, they were just sitting there; half of them were immobile, and those that weren't had nothing to do but stand guard while everyone recovered.
"We need to make plans," Kairin finally said when he moved to stand between Shairo and the twins. "What are we going to do?" Shairo asked, "We aren't leaving..." "No," Kairin said quickly, "But when we do, we need to be ready. That dragon isn't waiting for us... it may already be too late." "The dragon," Elohssa said, looking toward them, "Is a Filanzian Yasha-tabe. It lived in the castle of the mists before the Emperor's defeat. The warrior that attacked us before we entered the RDF base rescued it when Katar injured it, if my senses are reliable." "Where would he have taken it?" Kairin asked. "I can't say," Elohssa answered, "We could search the castle of the mists, but we won't find it unless that enigma wants us to."
More talking... more planning. Kairin knew where they would try to head when the opportunity arrived. But the opportunity didn't seem anywhere near them. They couldn't use instant transmission to go where they needed to go... there weren't any recognizable kis there. It would take a spacecraft, and at present, all such things were out of their reach; but getting back to earth once everyone was mobile wouldn't be so difficult, and from there...
"A strange energy is approaching," Kone said without turning to face them. She stopped, not sure if she should say what else was nagging at her mind.
**********
OOC: Oy. That was the biggest waste of typing ever. So ok, Kone's probably sensing the Zeo fragments on the megaship, so whenever Wolfstar posteth for Klidore, Kejek, Tommy, Etc can arrive... in fact, they probably should. In fact... a lot of setup for who's going where should happen in the next Klidore post... so we might want to plan for it. I get a feeling we might split up again pretty quickly... o.o. And yeah... all of my characters that can be moved are officially in a position requiring a Wolfstar post. ^_^. Unless I decide to have shapeshifter drop in and kill everyone while they're weakened.
[edit] Oh! Umm, I don't even know how many people know where Goti is. Trunks watched him leave with Vahn, and I think Pahn did as well... I don't remember what was sad at the end of the battle with Commando Jo. *backreads*[/edit]

Meta's burning sword smashed down on Songi, but the former monk of Byron fended it off with his Jedo-infected arm, pushing the massive blade aside and releasing a dark wave of energy at Vahn's Ra-Seru. The two Saiyans watched for an opening, preparing their own attacks.
But they found themselves preoccupied as a monstrous head lifted out of the ground, glowing red eyes locking on to the two of them. "What the...!" Goti shouted as he unleashed a massive burst of energy at the creature that pulled itself into Seru Kai.
"Another Juggernaut?" Bardock loudly asked as he reached out with his mind, trying to ensnare the creature. Realizing that it wasn't bending to his will, he leapt up onto the massive monster's back and began firing energy bursts down on it, to no avail.
"We have to get out of here," Vahn said as he sailed over Songi's head, clutching on to a branch of the Genesis Tree as he pulled himself up toward the Time Matrix. Songi unleashed a wave of lightning at the blue-haired Legaian, but Goti moved in front of it, blocking it with a bubble of ki as best as he could. 'Outside of Seru Kai,' Vahn thought as he quickly placed his hand on the smooth exterior of the Time Matrix. 'We have to get outside so Bardock can take control of Juggernaut and balance this for us.' A voice in the back of his head told him to travel back in time and eliminate Cort while he was a baby, thus stopping the terror of the past two decades from ever happening; and possibly sparing the Earth from the position it had found itself in as well. Knowing that he could not predict what effects that would have, he refocused his thoughts on getting outside Seru Kai.
Space fragmented around him. He could see every angle of everything, even facets of existence that could not be seen by the eye. There was a path in front of him leading from the Grand Genesis Tree to the open fields between Rim Elm and the Byron Monastery, the perfect place for a battle, he thought. He focused, forcing the area of effect to include Bardock and Goti as well, but with the insane amounts of energy flickering within the place, the Time Matrix also included Songi and Juggernaut. Vahn tried to reverse it, but it was too late... they were already moving back to Legaia.
