The buildings were not attached to the ground. That was the first thing Vahn noticed when he opened his eyes. The second was the great burning object in the sky, not a sun, but some unknown power source.
The third was Gala's body crashing through a building before forming a crater in the ground, Zora's exotically beautiful, dark form flying after him, laughing as she moved in. Vahn leapt up, reacting quickly to conjure a ball of fire with Meta's powers, which he hurled at the woman before she could strike his friend.
"Two worms to rip apart," she crowed after leveling her flight out to dodge the fire ball.
Gala rose out of the pit his fall had created and jumped out, landing next to Vahn. "This is not good," he muttered. "Dohati isn't far."
"This planet... it's because of the Time Matrix, right?"
<Correct> Meta replied. <Three locations have been melded into one. I suspect the only way to escape lies with the Time Matrix.>
"Wherever that is," Gala added.
<We have more important matters to attend to, at the moment> Ozma reminded them. <Zora and Dohati will not let you search without defeating them.>
As if on cue, Zora flung scarlet balls of energy down at the pair. Vahn jumped away only to get hit by an attack launched by Dohati from on top of one of the eerie floating skyscrapers. His attack was halted when Gala and Ozma called a bolt of lightning from the sky, striking Dohati and smashing the drifting building into scattered debris.
Taking advantage of the respite from Dohati's deadly energy rain, Vahn propelled himself through the air, creating a scorching aura around him as he moved like a guided missile at Zora. "Tornado Flame!" he shouted out, causing the aura to erupt into a full-fledged blaze as he twisted in the air like a cork screw, hitting his target with an intense uppercut that slammed both of them into one of the flying megaliths.
In the back of his mind, as he did his best to dodge a flurry of blows from Zora, Vahn wondered where Noa, Goti, and Bardock were, as well as the other foes.

Gotenks to the rescue!!!
---------------------------
Without warning, Kikyo felt the impenetrable magic barrier dissipate from her cave prison. She rushed quickly to the door of the cave and placed her hand on it lightly. She had spent much time - time she had lost track of in the lightless cave - and now she would finally be released.
Kikyo felt a chill run down her spine as the excitement overwhelmed her. "Now...now is where it all begins. From here the fights will only become more intense. More deadly..."
Still holding her hand on the door, Kikyo released a burst of pure white magic that completely destroyed the door - not even a spec of wood was left. Light immediately flooded into the damp cave, temporarily blinding the woman. When her eyes had fully adjusted to the light, she stepped out of the cave gracefully, giving the appearance of a queen.
"Where are Gotenks and Goton?" she looked around the room carefully, noticing the rips and tears in her clothing as she did. Her hair also appeared to have lengthened considerably; it was much too long for her now. "We must hurry...I sense great changes very soon."

Two of the EIA agents--one on either side-- kept their weapons at the ready, the leader of the group stepping in front of the woman who had just emerged from the cell which had moments earlier refused to budge.
"I don't know of whom you speak," the leader of the team said, voice bordering on harsh, "And I have some questions that I'd like for you to answer." Before anything further could happen, however, there came another message from one of the others in the room.
"Groups δ and η are both reporting the shutdown of some of the unknown systems detected throughout the facility," the officer relayed, "None seems to know of a reason for this." And again, another officer spoke up: "One of those caught in the knockout cloud appears to be the pilot of the expedition that alerted us; three appear to resemble Earthlings, but clearly are hybrids of some sort. The other is completely foreign to us." "Wake the pilot," the leader instructed, "And let him speak to us." "There's more," the officer added, "The apparent youngest of the hybrids shows signs of imprisonment; it's likely that he was a prisoner in this facility until recently." The leader gestured in acknowledgement, then waited for room to start asking questions... though now he had a pretty good idea of who Gotenks and Goton were.
The first thing Ioru felt after his thoughts became incoherent behind the gas was a tingling in the back of his neck that soon spread throughout his body before fading away. Looking up, he observed what seemed to be an endless black sky, though he noticed that it seemed to be fragmented by lines of light that resembled the inside of some crystaline structure. Then he tried to move, but noticed that he was surrounded by collumns of silver light that, although restraining, seemed to resemble a protective parent's hand rather than a prison.
~:What is your name?:~ The accent was familiar enough. ~:I am Ioru,:~ the pilot called, ~:Where am I?:~ ~:You are contained in Esrevni Intelligence Agency temporary detainment crystals,:~ the voice answered, ~:A violent situation was broken up and the participants detained. Recount what happened upon your arrival in this facility?:~ Ioru looked around in puzzlement, then told of how he had detected strange disturbances from the planetoid, investigated the carnage inside, and eventually came across Gotenks and Goton fighting a strange creature in their search for a captive woman. How Iazhe had made a bizarre--though useless--attack on the creature, and how a mysterious voice had instructed him to save her body upon her death. And how they had found the woman's cell, only for a strange boy to show up and warn them of the arrival of Captain Krysalor... at which point, the fight began, and became hazy in the Sevan's mind...
The EIA team leader took in all of this information, then shrugged in Kikyo's direction. "We will begin questioning the others. It is against regulations to release detainees in a hostile situation until the investigation is completed. Of course... this wouldn't be the first time something prevented that..."
There was a sudden vibrating noise as one of the nearby agents dropped his weapon, but quickly caught it from the air. "The one the pilot called Captain Krysalor is exhibiting vast amounts of energy; enough to interfere with the crystal if it continues to increase." "Remind him that he won't survive if he somehow manages to break it," the leader instructed, "And let Gotenks and Goton have visual contact with this area."
*******
OOC: Gah! Why are my posts always confusing and evasive? D:. Ok, everyone's awake now. Gotenks and Goton might be able to move around from where they are (in crystals?), but getting out might be hard if the EIA doesn't let them (not impossible though... and Kikyo could let them out). So ... yeah... (and I suspect if someone in there (Be it Gotenks, Goton, Aldran or Krysalor) really wants out, they might be able to ... fly around some complex way and do some ki trick to break free without breaking things... but I could see that being complicated. o.o.
... I talk too much!

OOC: Time to cheat... XD

"Real cute," Krysalor muttered as he looked around him. It didn't take him long to realize what had happened, that he was trapped in a containment crystal similar to the series of them that held the facility. "Lucky for me, I'm built in a similar fashion. Shouldn't be too hard to bust out of this. So long as I can avoid any more knockout gas once I escape. Bastards caught me off guard anyways."
With a smirk, he powered up, concentrating his energy into an aura around him. "Master sure knew what he was doing. These electromagnetic waves are easy enough to manipulate with my own crystalline structure and convert into my own special brand of energy."
Krysalor's assault on the containment device was a two-fronted attack. He drew energy from the containment crystal into his body, changing it into the same energy that gave him strength and even life, an energy related to ki, yet different. This weakened the field and strengthened him at the same time. The energy was focused into a ball of light that bounced around inside his orange crystalline body.
He flung the energy out against the crystal, causing the entire system to shut down. If the fields had been left at full strength, Krysalor knew it would have exploded and most likely killed him, as well as possibly doing the same for whoever held the crystal.
"Knock knock!" he cackled as soon as he found himself on the outside world, back in the maximum security cell once more. "You're supposed to say 'Who's there,' bub." With the slightest flick of his wrist, he stuck one of the figures in the chest, throwing him back against the wall where he landed in a heap. "Now, where did you put my playmate? We had a game we were in the middle of..."

Kikyo narrowed her eyes in frustration at the EIA agents. Time was of the essence now, and their procedures would only hinder what small time they had. "This really isn't the time to be questioning anyone. I suggest you wait..."
It was at that moment that she felt Krysalor quickly breaking his way out of the containment crystal. To be honest, she had expected him to do such a thing with so much ease. After all, the man was just like the crystal in ways.
She let out an exasperated sigh, and watched without interest as Krysalor finally broke out of the crystal. Again, he was just another hindrance to time. All he wanted to do was continue his fight with Gotenks, and, judging from their previous fighting, that fight would last much too long.
"This is becoming a nuisance." With a flick of her wrist, a transparent bubble suddenly wrapped around Krysalor. "If you value your life, I'd suggest you leave us alone."

What shall Krysalor do?

Out of curiosity... do we have a particular direction as to where we're going with this Esrevni scenario? If not I've got an idea that may result in some shaking up.

Well, look at all those screen names! You don't see that in this thread every day... or ... ever, even! (*joins in the Gotenks birthday happiness-wishing* ... Nah, I don't feel like my "come up with random crap that soundsan aweful lot like I'm trying to outdo people =(" thing...) (Wow at this huge mess of stuff I just read from some kinda anarchist... I don't know whether it's insane as all getut, or philosophically briliant... probably both.) Direction? Umm... *asks Gotenks*. I know that I kindawant Ioru to be kept around since I have Iazhe off getting training from East Kai... but even with that, she'd be pre-Freeza weak, most likely, so it'd take creativity for that to play into the story... but I kinda likes the option. Meanwhile, I think all of our people on the megaship need a reminder that a large amount of plot is centered around this group... Hehehehe... . And... I'm not sure what to post, short of having the EIA peoples decide what to do with Gotenks and Goton in light of the current situation... probably letting them out, though... Hmm...

Great black wings tore free of Wolfstar's white Arrancar robes, which tore further when his skin began to form a sort of hard white armor. the fragments of his mask began to reform into a sort of helmet, leaving his face mostly exposed, but his eyes were sheathed in the white material, except for the rectangular slits for him to see. Not that Cyba wanted to stare into the eyes, which became completely dark around the irises. The irises themselves turned white, an effect that made them seem to glow from within the helmet structure. On top of the helmet, the horns from the mask remnant grew larger and turned black.
The zanpaku-to vanished and was replaced by a twisted black saber, which was clutched in the now clawed hands of Cyba's former master. Once the transformation was complete, the only part of Wolfstar that remained was his jawline. He had become a true monster.
"What do you think?" he asked. Even the voice had changed into something fearsome. "I hope you haven't started regretting already, Cyba."
"Damn are you ugly or what?" Cyba replied with a smirk. "But you did get stronger. I'd say I'm going to be glad I spent some time in the Chaos Dimension training." Wolfstar also smirked, then held the twisted black sword out in front of him. "Yeah, let's get this over with."
Green blots of Chaos Energy reached out from Cyba's aura, striking out at Wolfstar. The Arrancar swiped them away with his dark blade while advancing at Cyba.
"I need a few minutes," Cyba thought, only putting enough effort into his offensive to make Wolfstar think he was sincere with his strikes. With any luck, the glowing blue orb in the sky would go completely unnoticed.

OOC: Big trouble in little hidden enemy base... er... thing!
***
EDITING! Because I messed up... I somehow forgot (as in I didn't reread before posting) that Kikyo had Krysalor in a barrier...
***
Krysalor's grin turned into a frown when he looked over at the released captive. Clidax would not be pleased, and neither would his master. What was more annoying, however, was that that sorceress would hold him up from beating the snot out of the scrawny soldiers that had interfered with his fight against the powerful Saiyan, in turn holding up his rematch with the same man.
"Lady, you've got no idea how much of a pain in my ass you just became," he growled as slammed his fist against the magic bubble. It didn’t budge. He also couldn’t manipulate it as he had the containment crystal.
He prepared to bash it again, but was stopped by a sudden burst of fire that took the form of a man, although he still gave the impression of being a living flame. "That is enough, Krysalor." With a quick wave of his hand which produced flame on his finger tips, the man tore apart the barrier bubble. “So this is the magic being used by mortals these days. Quaint, but more interesting than what came before it.” With another wave, the man constructed a dome of fire around himself and Krysalor.
"Father!" Krysalor nearly gasped. "I mean... Master Gareus, yes sir. What now, then?"
"It seems clear to me that your powers are insufficient as of the moment to defeat the Perfect Fusion," Gareus replied, although his statement was not delivered in a condescending tone. "As it stands, the one you battled earlier would probably be enough to stop you. Also, our collaborator has been defeated, along with his Hermalyan Empire, and this resistance movement even managed to vanquish your brother. Loki has called us back. He says the Unifyer has a new assignment for us, and that he will arrive shortly to deal with the Perfect Fusion and the witch. As it is, I barely saved Clidax and the rest of you lot from exile to the Zone. I wouldn't want my sons being put on the same level as that fool Robotrax, after all."
"Thank you, Master Gareus," Krysalor groveled.
"Then let us make haste. I would not wish to be here when Loki arrives. He won't leave anything living that isn't necessary for the Unifyer's plan, and I believe that could include us."

OOC: Waaaah! *thinks that post could be spelled "doom"*. Ok, so, let's see... ***** "... Loki! In my quadrant?" The telepathic shout that East Kai sent out next left its victims aware of little other than her words for a moment afterward. "Ioru! Gotenks! Goton! You have to get out of there NOW! That man that left with Krysalor was one of the Unifier's highest underlings in the universe; that can only mean that one of his harolds is coming... and that will spell doom for everyone!" As soon as Krysalor and Gareus had vanished, one of the EIA agents had leapt over to his fallen comrades. Though they were shielded from direct blows, the sudden acceleration that Krysalor's attacks provided were more than enough to do internal damage. ~:... What's going on?:~ Ioru's interrogator was put on high alert at the same moment that Ioru had jerked at the voice of East Kai. ~:... Let them out,:~ Ioru suddenly said with new urgency, ~:The other warriors... you must release them immediately!:~ ~:What?:~ The fact that the agents looking at Gotenks and Goton saw the same effect upon East Kai's message, coupled with Krysalor's escape and violence and just as dramatic exit, was enough. ~:... Release them,:~ the leader said with a reluctant sigh, ~:And recall as many operatives as possible!:~ ~:Sir,:~ one of the agents answered, ~:The aggressor has disappeared; what reason will we give for the order?:~ ~:Didn't you hear what the fiery creature said?:~ the leader snapped, ~:This facility is officially a top-level warzone!:~ ***** OOC: Gah, that was pathetic as usual! Ok, so Gotenks and Goton are free to do whatever now, and... that took way too long in story-time... ...

"How fast is this ship?" The green-scaled man asked uneasily once he had argued information concerning the Unifier and the mysterious shapeshifter from his 'hosts'. "We should be coming up on Legaia pretty soon," Andros answered. Then he looked toward a display uneasily. "But..." "How long would it take you to reach Esrevni?" the man broke in. "Not so fast," Kejek interrupted, "First... you still aren't telling us everything of interest. We don't even know your name, yet. Second... this ship might be one of the fastest in the galaxy, but from what I understand, Esrevni isn't exactly close..." "They know me as Seremek," the visibly impatient technitian answered, "And I don't know what else you want to know. I'm not going to be held hostage by yet another group that thinks its stronger than me, though. And besides, my former employer worked through covert operations just like this mysterious shapeshifter you mentioned; I didn't even know what was going on until it was too late to back out. If anything, we should dispense with your current goals if we want to get ahead of him." "And we know you aren't working for him... how?" Elohssa stepped in, "Though you are convincing, there's too much at stake to let ourselves fall into a trap. If all goes well, we'll have what we came for and can make further plans afterward." "... the energy signals from Legaia have... changed," Andros interrupted, "... I can't make sense of it. It's like ... everything's disappeared?" "... Any reason not to beleve the Time Matrix is responsible?" Shaoten asked. "Andros," Tommy stepped closer, "Can you get a lock on the energy to see if it's moved somewhere else?" "Deka, is there any energy in range that matches that which disappeared from Legaia?" Seremek scowled at how the subject had shifted, but said nothing. "No matching energy can be detected," Deka responded. ***** OOC: Umm... I think we need a response from a Wolfstar chary. And... I want to make the entire GU game just to figure out what to do with the Flooded! Colony. [edit] Never try to write a post while playing music if only reading through audio. O.O. And... I changed the TM line to Shaoten, because Kejek wouldn't mention the Time Matrix in the presence of a stranger like that...[/edit]

Pahn nearly collapsed. The physical strain she could manage, although she had suffered her share of injuries, as had everyone else that had stood against Clidax and his minions on Klidore. The emotional strain of having the two of her three children that she actually knew still lived suddenly vanish, however, was what struck her hardest.
"They aren't dead," she said defiantly. "They can't be." She could still feel the intense energy resonance of Goti's Chaotic transformation, although it was quickly dissipating. "Do we have any way to track them? This ship is so advanced, it has to have something!"
"I don't think that is within our capabilities at the moment," one of the humans said. She was too absorbed in checking the image of the planet on the view screen to tell - or care - which one had said it.
"There has to be a way!" She slumped up against the wall, visibly shaking. "My husband died, was wished back, but didn't return like he was supposed to. When I finally detect him, he vanishes again. And now my two sons also vanish, right before I reach them. This isn't right!" Several deep, steadying breaths helped calm her, but only enough to contain the explosion of emotions inside her. "King Kai," she said suddenly. "He should know. Can anyone here contact him?"

"King Kai..." Kone spoke quietly from the outskirts of the group, but was mostly heard. "From how he spoke to Gohan after the destruction of the RDF base, I believe he is already watching this area."
