Again, Vixion gave Goten a single and powerful strike that sent him to the ground. He struggled to get up as Vixion appeared before him.
"Good night, saiyan," Vixion said evilly as the Hermalan released a blast of energy on Goten. Goten withstood this blow, although it cuased him much pain as his body rolled down the jagged ruins of the land. Vixion flew to hover over him.
"You were a fool to oppose me," the warrior of the RDF said, the dark voice echoing in the battle-torn landscape, "Now you will pay the price." Vixion fired another blast, this time hitting Goten in the back. He summoned all of his energy to stay alive, screaming with pain as he did. If he had just gone to his maximum level in the beginning, he could have possibly held Vixion off long enough for someone, anybody, to come and help. He had been conserving his energy to face Komet and Kupid and the others at the base. Now it would cost him his quest.
No! He refused to let it happen. Vixion fired another ki blast. Goten jumped to his feet and deflected it, his aura blazing as he panted from the effort.
"You're wrong, Vixion," Goten said, gazing up at him with his super saiyan eyes, "We have all suffered. Now, it's over!" Goten began to shout, gatheras more of the landscape was remodeled. He rose into the air, sparks and lightning popping and whistling around him. With one great effort, Goten threw his arms up and released a super intense blast upon Vixion before coming to the ground in exhaustion.

Another chapter break: when Nijam is demanding answers from Shairo. THe next chapter starts with Gotenks explaining what he believes his origin is at the time. Another good point might be where Yabu says that "Of course I do. It's kakkarat. NOw are we going?" Then the next chapter can begin with gotenks pondering this, because it seems like there is a break there when there is no scene change.

Ok, I have an idea on how we could use both of our ideas with Kone/Kikyo. If you have something better, please tell. During the big fight near the end, a powerful blast comes at her and she uses her teleportation ability to escape. The problem is that the blast is so powerful and the time matrix is so close that it causes her to return to the past. She goes to the planet Hermalya to tell the emperor of his folly and warn him not to pursue such a course of action. She discovers that she has not gone back as far asshe had come from and that the emperor is very angry with her. He imprisons her for her treachery, but she escapes to Earth and transforms into Kikyo. After the battle in the future, they will begin to mourn over Kone when Kikyo tells them that hope is not lost and she relays the story, maybe giving vague allusions of what Kone looked like without transforming all the way back. ! This sounds so much like a post that might appear at Super Shadow dot com!

I don't really want to do anything in the time line with Gotenks and them until this super attack has done its thing. It was, after all, fast when Goken used it on Dashyr. I also don't feel that the emperor should really do too much fighting of his own just yet. He's supposed to be a mysterious and powerful figure with an iron fist and no need to do anything for himself. And this two emperor's thing does leave such questions... are there two, or are they simply existing in more than one place/time? Hmm... Anyways, I' post in a minute..

Goten hovered there, still tired from the beaitng he had received. Vixion still hovered above him and to the northwest, grinning in amusement. The Hermalan's armor had been damaged, and there was a burn mark across the forehead, but no serious harm had befallen the warrior.
"Nice," Vixion said, "I might have a scar now." The hermalan chuckled as energy sparked around its hands. Vixion raised the Hermalan arms with energy blazing in them. The warrior brought hem down, releasing twin blazes of blue at Goten. The saiyan took them full in the chest, but stayed in the air.
"You can't hope to survive," Vixion told him, "It's all over." Goten continued to try and gather energy without Vixion's knowledge, hoping to throw a devastating blow that would end the battle. Vixion began to power up as well, though it was much more obvious. The Hermalan flew at Goten, an evil aura illuminating the air around. As Vixion's hands came up to release the finishing blast, Goten moved forward and slammed a fist into the Hermalan's face, releasing a huge blast at the same time that knocked Vixion to the ground near Komet and Kupid.
"You alright, Vix?" Komet said as Vixion manged to stand.
"I'm fine," Vixion snapped, obviously angered.
"If you want us to take care of him," Kupid began.
"I need no assistance to take down this monkey," Vixion hissed, "You can obviously not sense how low his power is in comparison to ours."
"Maybe you're just... overstressed," Komet suggested, a voice not worthy of trust leaving the Hermalan lips.
"You're wasting your breath," Vixion said, glaring at the two, "I am not failing and you are not going to relieve me of my duties."
"Never intended to," Kupid replied, smiling tedeously, "Please, kill him."
"Alright then!" Vixion shouted, "I will!" The Hermalan turned and unleashed a tremendous onslaught of energy that cut through the land. Goten dove for the ground, hardly able to begin to deflect the attack. The ground was shifting violently as lava began to shoot from the blast area. He found himself falling into a shallow chasm, the blast not harming him very much. He remained there, trying to regain his strength.

"Gosh," Komet said, "With all the effort you wasted, you made him seem tough."
"Don't over estimate him," Vixion said, "I had no desire to use such a large blast. There could be things in the imperial stronghold that were of use, but now it doesn't matter."
"What now?" Komet asked.
"We take out the others?" Kupid added.
"Take the namek back to the base," Vixion instructed, "I will kill the others. All the powerful fighters are dead or hiding out somewhere. This won't take long." Komet and Kupid lifted into the air, holding Dende between them. They flew off to the north, disappearing from sight. Vixion turned to look about the blast area. He could detect the weak powers of the others, scattered about. Closest was the woman Kikyo, watching iin horror. Vixion raised a hand and fired a ki blast at her that, somehow, missed.
Vixion took another step forward, charging a blast as Kikyo turned to flee. She tripped on a large deformity in the ground and Vixion came to stand over her. He was suddenly knocked away by Goten, glowing and wounded, but very much alive.
"You brat!" Vixion shouted, "You're supposed to be dead!"
"Sorry to rain on your parade," Goten said coolly, "But I'm very much alive."
"You fool!" Vixion said, furious, "You will die right now!" Goten raised a hand to deflect Vixion's blast. It never hit, however. He found himself behind him, Kikyo holding onto his arm. He was confused at first.
"Now!" Kikyo cried, jumping back and scrambling for cover. As Vixion turned, Goten released an intense energy wave. Vixion plowed through this blast and began slamming fists into Goten. The half saiyan went to blocking again, struggling once more to survive.

Goten managed to land a punch to Vixion's face before Vixion did the same. Goten moved back and kicked, Vixion moving up and attacking with more punches. Goten blocked the first blow and dodged the second, striking Vixion's torso. Vixion tried to knee Goten, but the half saiyan was missed by this attack and jabbed at Vixion's lower right abdomenal area. Vixion threw another punch at Goten's face, the saiyan barely managing to block in time. He threw a kick, Vixion ignoring it and swinging at Goten's chest. Goten blocked again, coming up with a swift elbow to the chest and a punch to the abdomen. Before Vixion had countered, Goten had kneed him betweent he legs and punched him with the other fist in the stomach. Vixion finally broke free of GOten's attack and hit him over the head, sending him to the ground.
"I must admit," Vixion said, "You are good. But it ends now." With that, the Hermalan fired a large ki blast. Goten did his best to deflect it, getting pinned to the ground with consciousness beginning to fade.

I'm sorry, but the story appears to have stalled. If I do anymore in the background here the Fire emerald will look slow, which I recall it being the opposite of in the fight with Dashyr. If you'd like to redo this yourself, go ahead, I'm just getting the story going again.

"SUPER SHINE SHINE MISSILE!" Gotenks brought his hands forward sending his strongest wave of energy towards the Fire Emerald. BOOM! The two waves of energy
connected. The Fire Emerald absorbing the energy of Gotenks' Super Shine Shine Missile caused Goton's attack to increase in strength, size, and speed.
The Hermalans that were left were in range of the attack without much time left to escape. The only problem was that Goton and Gotenks had both gone down to keep them at bay, and were now directly in the path of the attack.
"They're finished!" the emperor shouted triumphantly, raising his staff over his head as it blazed with red light.
"Don't be so sure about that!" Gotenks shouted from behind the emperor. Standing with a hand on both Gotenks and Goton was Kone, looking emotionless.
"You traitor!" the emperor shouted, fury in his eyes.
"I have seen no reason for either side to be harmed," Kone proclaimed, "And apparently you have lost your faith in my loyalty."
"I know you to be false," the emperor said with a sinisterly quiet voice, "And now you have helped these saiyans and their friends survive! You call yourself a Hermalan? You are nothing but a traitorous slime!"
"Fine," Kone said, "But tell me why you must fight."
"All that oppose me must die!" the emperor stated, "You know this to be true. I am the leader of the Hermalans. If I am opposed, we are opposed!"
"It's hard not to oppose someone that comes, conquers, and devastates our world," Kairin said, the others joining him to face the emperor.
"And what reason did you have to conquer them?" Kone asked.
"I tell you nothing!" the emperor bellowed, his staff now flaming with light, "You will die!"
"Liquaro, Rani, now!" Kairin shouted. The time matrix and the twins suddenly appeared in the small space between the emperor and the three facing him, which was too small for them. In a flash, they were gone, leaving the battlefield empty.

The emperor's will never got the chance to engage. The time matrix was under the control of the heroes. In a short moment outside of time, they emerged on the planet Hermalya one day before the time matrix had been lost. The twins instantly teleported out of the way to keep the time matrix out of the Emperor's hands, the Hermalan ruler falling to the ground and losing his grip on his staff. The others made a move for the time matrix.
"You will not escape!" the emperor shouted, getting to his feet and bringing his staff to his hand with his power, "I will not allow it! Bardock!"
"You summoned me?" the voice was one that filled Goti with a combination of loathing, surprise, fear, and compassion. His brother entered the room in the imperial palace where they had arrived, looking as ready as ever to serve the emperor.
"Take care of them!" the emperor commanded, "And get that sphere!"
"He has to catch us first," Kairin said, taking his position with his hand upon the time matrix. Everyone stood ready, all save Goti.
"Bardock," Goti said firmly, "How could you disgrace us and join such evil? I thought better of you, brother."
"I have salvaged part of our saiyan power!" Bardock declared, "I can't begin to redeem the patheticness that all of you Earth-saiyans have so foolishly displayed, but I can bring honor back to my race!"
"You have no honor," Goti replied.
"Come on," Kairin urged, "We're messing up the time line. We're a day early."
"YOu will die a day early!" the emperor cried, making a slashing motion with his staff. A shock wave of energy moved out in the ark he made and rushed at the heroes. Kone raised a hand and released a stream of blue stars that spread over the wave and dissolved it into nothingness.
"Goti, come on," Kairin pleaded, "If you must face your brother, do it in the right time."
"He doesn't have much say in the matter," Bardock said as he prepared to attack.
"There is a time for all of this," Kairin said, "And this isn't it!" Bardock charged at Goti, who instinctively prepared to defend himself. Rani teleported to him and brought him out of the way, returning to the time matrix and helping the others to shift them back to the future that they had left.

Sorry... I don't like pupeteering other characters because it's an rpg and we all have our own. Oh, and I'm terribly sorry if I've explained the two emperors thing in a way you don't like, but things are just slowing down where they could speed up.

Vixion was not foolish enough to let Goten stay alive this time.. Standing over him, the Hermalan charged a finishing move. It was quick and powerful. It would have destroyed Goten in an instant if it hit. Kikyo did nothing. She simply stepped back, a sudden look of confidence and realization crossing her face. She just smiled at Vixion, as though she knew what was to come.
The attack was stopped when Kyu appeared, knocking Vixion to the ground yards away. The group had appeared very near to Goten and Kikyo, closer to the woman. Kikyo looked over at them, her eyes meeting with Katar. She smiled kindly and then turned to look at Kone. The sorceress seemed confused, but said nothing.
Vixion was quickly up, flying at Kyu. The young half-saiyan blocked, but was still knocked off of his feet. Elohssa jumped in the way of Vixion's next attack, lashing at the Hermalan with his hair. Vixion took the blow, amused and surprised. He kicked Elohssa several feet away where he landed, amazingly unharmed.
Next to oppose Vixion was Kairin, flying at the Hermalan with his quad blade drawn. He made a horrizontal slash at Vixion's torso before the Hermalan threw a blow at Kairin's head. Kairin flinched, avoiding most of the force of the attack. He tried for his own attack, but Vixion drove his fist into the earthling's stomach and threw him aside. Again, astonishingly, he was saved internal wounds.
Next up was Shairo, flying in at super saiyan two and throwing a series of punches at Vixion, who blocked them with ease and kicked the half-saiyan back. Shairo stood and aimed his fingertips at Vixion, his hands about a foot apart and the palms facing each other.
"Pulse ray!" Shairo shouted, a blaze of light erupting toward Vixion, the intensity of its light changing in a rhythmic "Pulse". Vixion took this attack with no damage and smirked at Shairo. Vixion threw another of the beams that was used on Goten, causing Shairo to step back at the pain. Shairo avoided yielding to the pain, firing a ki blast that stopped Vixion's attack.

"Aro could stand a better chance against that alien," At said, "If I can get out there, we should fuse."
"There hasn't really been enough time," Yabu said, "But you can try. I will cover you." With that, At began to take on features of Goku once again. Yabu transformed into a super saiyan three and flew at Vixion, stopping another attack aimed for Shairo.
"Yabu, what are you doing?" Shairo demanded.
"Go and try to fuse with the boy," Yabu instructed, "We need all the power we can get."
"It's not happening!" came a shout from behind. Komet and Kupid were flying toward them, Dende apparently dropped off at the base of the RDF.
"Look out!" Gotenks shouted as Komet fired a ki blast at Shairo. Shairo turned to deflect it, Komet descending to begin the battle.

Goten struggled to open his eyes. What he saw was both wonderful and terrible. He shut them again. When next he opened them, he saw it again.
"Father?" he gasped for air, "But... does that mean... I failed?"
"No," Goku's voice answered, "You haven't. You've stayed alive against the Hermalan forces and their imprisonment. You've done better than a lot of people."
"How are you here?" Goten asked.
"We've worked on the fusion technique together," Goku continued, "You, Trunks, Shairo and I. It was a long time ago."
"You're alive?" Goten said in awe, "You escaped from Dartin?"
"That's right," "Gokuu" answered.
"Allow me," Kone said as she approached. A gentle rain of blue stars poured from her hands and washed over Goten, spreading like water. They were moving over him as he groaned, his strength returning and his body reviving. He slowly got to his feet.
"Donnyr and Blitzian have Dende now," Goten said, "And they have the dragon balls. The only way we can really win now is with them. We all have great power, but nothing of the magnitude needed to stop the empire and revive the earth."
"Donnyr and Blitzian?" Kone said, looking surprised.
"Members of the RDF," Goten explained.
"I know who they are," Kone said quickly, sadness entering her eyes.
"Goten," At said, "Shall we fuse and help stop these guys?"
"Didn't he say that you haven't had time to refuse?" Kone said, refering to Yabu.
"We have to do something," Goten said, "If we can't fuse just yet, then maybe..." He trailed off.
"What?" At asked.
"I've got an idea," Goten said, "But it's up to you."
"I'm listening," At said.
