The universe seemed to pull away from Goti, Rani. and Liquaro. The Time Matrix was functioning on a level that Goti couldn't even begin to understand. Goti felt queasy from the instantaneous movement created be the Time Matrix. Finally, it came to a halt directly in front of Cort, Cyba, and Trunks.

Excellent!, Cort thought to himself, seeing the Time Matrix. Now it will be mine again! He mentally ordered Juggernaut to grab it and defeat the warriors.
Juggernaut quickly snatched up the Time Matrix, making it impossible for them to retrieve it.
Cort then made mental contact with the other Emperor. Meet me underground at the usual spot.

Seems fine... Liquaro was going to take Goti alone, but it is possible that the time matrix disturbed the instant transmission and was brought with them.

"The Time Matrix!" Goti yelled as Juggernaut pulled it out of reach. Suddenly, both Juggernaut and Cort disappeared in a flash of light. Goti dropped to his knees. "I'm sorry... It's all my fault that they got it. I didn't intend on this to happen."
"Now we've got a real problem on our hands," Trunks told everyone. "Emperor Cort has the Time Matrix, Juggernaut is at full power, and we are without a plan."
"No, I have a plan," Cyba said, dropping out of Chaotic form. "We need to find the Mist Generator and destroy it. Then Bardock will be back on our side. It should also weaken Cort and Juggernaut."

The once pink body of Kupid changed a dark red color, mucsles nearly tripling in size. Spikes bulged from his back, and the top of his head. His fingernails extended, to form claws. "Is that it?" Goken asked sarcastically. Kupid laughed, "You have no chance of defeating me while I'm in this stage!" "We'll see about that!" Goken exclaimed changing to the Super Saiyan 2 stage. "So, you're only going the Super Saiyan 2 stage? You'll need more than that to beat me!" "Well see about that! FIGHT!" ********************************************* I hope that was the color of Kupid's skin. I wasn't really sure, so I turned it pink.  |

Cyba began elaborating on his plan of locating the Mist Generator, telling everyone what they looked like in design.
"If any of you find a structure that looks like a giant turbine that emits fog, be sure to send me a telepathic message. That will be the Mist Generator. Only the power of a Chaotic can destroy it, aside from a Ra-Seru, which I believe Vahn told me were extinct. Oh yeah, and don't let a Seru touch you, or you will become just like Bardock. Everyone check the castle. Be on guard."

Both Goken and Kupid sent a flurry of punches and kicks at eachother, Kupid obviously having the upperhand.
"I told you that you had no chance of defeating me while at that stage!" Kupid exclaimed wickedly.
"He's right!" Goken exclaimed to himself. "But I can't go any level higher if he keeps beating me up like this... It doesn't matter anyway...if I went Super Saiyan 3, it would only last for about 2 minutes, Super Saiyan 4 a minute, and Super Saiyan 5 about 30 seconds..."
"So, monkey! What are you going to do now?" Kupid asked slamming his fist into Goken's gut causing him to spit up blood. "There's nothing you can do is there?"
"Yes there is!" a voice cried from below.
A green wave of energy was sent at Kupid hurling him at least 200 feet into the air.
"What?" Goken asked looking down below.
What he did see shocked and pleased him. The shadowy figure below was nonother than...

"So this is the Castle of the Mist, is it?" Trunks asked Cyba.
"It appears," Cyba responded. "Or maybe he has more Mist Generators than we anticipated. He rebuilt the one on Earth that we destroyed, along with three or four others. Luckily, we freed Namek while in exile, but there is still the possibility that they reclaimed it."
"Look out, Cyba, Seru!" Trunks exclaimed as he sent an energy blast at a funny looking creature with no legs that floated along.

"Take that!" he yelled at the creature.

"Kikyo!" Goken exclaimed. "But how-"
"You shall pay for harming this peaceful planet!" Kikyo exclaimed interrupting Goken. "Lunar Eclipse!"
A large ball of purple of energy had formed in Kikyo's hand. Kikyo then threw it at Kupid. When the energy ball hit Kupid, what looked like purple fireworks erupted everywhere, only hittting Kupid.
"Goken... You must me hurt." Kikyo said.
"What were those? Is she a Saiyan or is she a wizard?" Goken thought to himself in surprise after the remains of Kupid fell to the ground.
"I shall heal you!" Kikyo exclaimed. "Moonlight Healing!" (Yes, the name is cheesy and it sounds like something from Sailor Moon.)
A link ball of light formed around Goken that soon mended him, along with the rest of his clothes that had been battered to pieces.
"..." Goken floated down towards Kikyo. "Kikyo...what...who? We need to talk."

They all split up to search the castle for the Mist Generator.

A green fog billowed from the Berserker's mouth as it used an attack known as Death Breath.
Cyba recoiled as it hit him, spreading rot on his left arm, making it completely immobile.
Trunks got out of the way just in time to avoid a similar fate, then counter-attacking with a quick kick to the Seru's head, knocking it over temporarily.
