"Did you feel that?" Katar said in sudden alarm.
"Yeah," Shairo agreed, "Trunks, Yabu, and a couple of the others... what could have happened? The enemies' power didn't rise enough to finish all of them."
"And Yabu's kind of hard to kill, being that he's not very alive," Kairin added. Katar clenched her fists.
"They just won't quit!" She growled, her forehead creasing with anger. "Frieza, Dartin, the Hermalan invasion... and now these guys!"
"I know what you mean..." Kairin said with a sigh.
"I'm glad you're wrong," Katar snapped, "You haven't died. You weren't abandoned by every power that forced you to accept it. You didn't escape from the bowels of Hell only to spend the next three decades pissed off!"
"All of this and you haven't transformed," Kejek said, giving her a serious look, "But your power continues to grow despite this."
Katar's glare sharpened, then she let out a yell and flew into the air with orange flames around her. Kairin jumped up to follow, but she sent a ki blast to hold him down.
"Think," She commanded, "Don't be this wreckless!" She flew off toward the energies on the other side of the world.
Shairo started to take off, but Kejek leveled his wand at him and he stumbled back.
"I think what she said was meant for all of us," he declared, "Let's do this strategically. We'll need more than maximum power to win this fight." Kairin got to his feet.
"At," He said, "If you feel safe enough, you should probably try out your new morph." At nodded as his skin began to thicken and take a leathery tone. His face started to contort itself into the shape of the Thestral's head as his entire frame started stretching and rearranging to fit the shape of the bizarre creature.
"This is madness," Shairo said, clenching his fists, "This entire situation is pure insanity."
"Power isn't the key," Kejek repeated, "But it is still a good weapon. Between us, you're the strongest. I'm not sure who else is out there, but you and At need to stay safe." He looked to Kairin. "You should go ahead of us so that At is less likely to take a hit. Shairo, you should probably stick close, but hang to the side. We'll need your power, but at the same time you need to be a little secure in the approach."
"Right," Shairo agreed, exhailing slowly. "And should we go in at full?"
"Since there are less powerful warriors opposing them," Kairin answered, "It'd probably make sense to avoid going in at full power, but we need to be ready to power up as quickly as possible."
"Between me and the others that are there," Kejek said, "You should have enough cover for that." He looked to At, who was now completely transformed. "Do you mind carrying me?" At flicked his wings and stepped closer to allow Kejek to climb on. Once he was securely seated, Kejek spoke:
"In this form, can you tell where we need to go?"
<Yes,> At answered, <I can tell exactly where they are... and I can tell where you want to go.>
"Great. Well, let's go!" At let his wings extend and jumped into the air, taking off at a high speed. Kairin jumped quickly into the sky to get ahead of them, finding that the Thestral had a lot of natural speed. Shairo came up behind and they headed eastward.
********** I have a lot left to do here... but I have to go... *sigh*.

The dragon brought its head down and gave a powerful snort as a couple jets of flame shot out, narrowly misdsing Elohssa. The cyborg-saiyan jumped up and flicked his hair forward, slashing it across the Dragon's snout and sending a wave of energy into it. The dragon growled and launched its jaws forward, but Elohssa was already jumping back. The dragon managed to catch his foot, but Elohssa sent an energy beam from his hand to hit the dragon in the mouth, causing it to release him.
"I don't have time for this," Elohssa declared. Behind him, the gem of despair was taking effect. He turned, standing near to a tree. The dragon crouched low, glaring toward the battlefield.
"Blast!" Elohssa said to himself, "I waited too long!" Suddenly, the dragon's head lifted up and began scanning the sky. Elohssa looked at the dragon in confusion. After a few seconds, the dragon's great wings folded out and it launched itself into the air.
It was then that Elohssa noticed the sudden spike in energy heading toward them.
"Katar. That means... this dragon must be the yasha-tabe the warrior was talking about!" Elohssa looked toward the battlefield. "I hope they can hold out a little longer..." He took flight and rushed after the dragon, who was already near the limits of sight.
**********
O.O... that wasn't good.

Gotenks had to admit, now that he looked at Aldran closely, the boy did resemble Trunks. "OK, you look like Trunks, I'll give you that. And! I'll acknowledge that you're his son until he confirms it himself." What surprised Gotenks, however, was the fact that he had no knowledge of Aldran being Trunks's son. Before he used to know everything Goten and Trunks knew after they fused. 'So I didn't gain all of their memories when the Emperor created me...'
"We're cornered!" Ioru said in sudden alarm, "We don't have any room to move, especially if they use long-range attacks!"
Gotenks quickly snapped out of his thoughts, remembering that Aldran had mentioned something about a man by the name of Captain Krysalor. "Cornered? ... Wait what?!"
"It's this cave," Goton said, shifting his eyes up and down. "The ceiling's not high enough... The room's not wide enough. If we fight here, there's a high chance that this entire cave while collapse on us. We might not even be able to survive a cave in of that magnitude."
"Meaning Kikyo's in danger!" Gotenks finished. "Oh shit! How the hell are we going to do this? None of us know how to get Kikyo out of her cell, which means we'll have to leave her here..."
"Just go!" Kikyo spoke up from her cell. "I'll be all right where I am. They're too afraid to move me to another location, so I'll still be here later on. Just... run to a bigger area, lure Captain Krysalor away from here." Her small, but beautiful, face appeared in the only hole in the door. She then winked at them, a naughty smile emerging. "I know you two can take them on with ease. After all... you both saved me."
Goton and Gotenks's face brightened a new shade of red when Kikyo was done talking, though both were unaware that they were both blushing.
"OK, let's get going everyone," Gotenks ordered, rushing to the entrance of the cave. "We'll come back for you later, Kikyo!"

"We have to make it to the top floor of the tower," Vahn told Goti and Bardock as he walked into the middle of the square room they were standing in. There was a big glowing circle in front of him, one that had a feel of magic to it.
"Let's just blow through the ceiling and get up there then!" Bardock said, gathering energy in his hands.
<That won't work> Meta told them, halting Bardock's power up. <The walls are stronger than the ones in the Castle of the Mists back on Hermalya and are held together by some strange force. I can't even sense through it.>
"Well then, what are we supposed to do?" Goti asked.
<This place is a giant teleporter maze. Those circles will teleport you to a different circle in another room. We're going to have to figure out the right sequence to take us to the top floor> Palma replied.
"Great..." Bardock muttered. "Well, this is the only circle in this room, so that narrows it down for us... How kind..."

Anoreha glared at Commando Joe, a murderous look on her face. "What the hell did you just do to my husband?" Commando Joe laughed, placing the Gem of Dispair back into his pocket.
"He's on Klidore now, and will probably be lunch to the Terra Dax before too long. And now, victory here on Earth seems inevitable... your strongest warriors are gone."
"Sir, I've got a fix on Shairo and At," Shadow Walker told Commando Joe. "Shall I go exterminate them?"
"Proceed with caution," Commando Joe replied. Shadow Walker nodded and lifted off into the air, focusing on Shairo. As he turned back toward Anoreha and Pahn, he felt a fist slam into his face, blowing him back into a tumble on the ground. He corrected his inertia and landed back on his feet to see Anoreha standing where he just was, her fist still extended as a rush of energy overtook her. Her long, dark hair began to lift up in great spikes in the back as it turned gold, and her irises flickered from green to simply disappearing.
"I can tell you've never played with a Legendary Super Saiyan before..." she said as she vanished and struck again, kicking Commando Joe in the side.

Miliardo's bent sword flashed through the air, slicing Gohan's right knee open. Gohan tried to dive back, but Miliardo brought his sword up again while rushing Gohan, intent on finishing their fight right then. Gohan pulled his fist back and thrust it forward once more, shouting "Kaiofyru!" A burst of energy struck Miliardo in the face, blowing him back. Miliardo maintained his footing and brought a hand up to wipe his face.
Gohan covered him quickly, kicking the bent blade out of Miliardo's hands and imbedding it into a stone pillar to their left. Miliardo raised his energy around him in a violent torrent, blowing Gohan through the roof once more. Miliardo pusued him, the two of them fighting above the castle in a series of intense physical confrontations.
"Shazooran Burst!" Miliardo shouted, throwing a ball of energy at Gohan that carried him out past the Tecarlin city and into a nearby lava field. Gohan secured a spot on safe ground and watched as Miliardo set down in front of him, his sword returned to his hands.
"If you're really trying to beat me, you're going to have to give it more than that," Gohan told his foe.
"Don't worry... I'm enjoying this battle too much to let it end so soon," came Miliardo's reply as he straightened out his silver hair, removing it from his eyes.
"You're starting to sound more like a Saiyan than a Klidorian," Gohan said.
"Well, that would be because I'm not a Klidorian... I'm a human."
"Then why are you aligning yourself with them? You should help us defend the Earth!"
"The Earth... isn't my home anymore. I do as Master Clidax orders..."

I've decided that I don't want to write the dragonfight. At least not yet. So... ***** Goten looked around, his mind racing to keep up with all that had happened in the moments it had taken him to land. "Awe great. Hopefully Trunks can take care of himself..." Anoreha's power increase caught him by surprise. Maybe the odds weren't so bad afterall. Goten's state of distraction allowed a beam from slayer to send a searing pain through his arm. Goten let himself be thrown to the ground to avoid any more damage, rolling toward the metallic alien. "You aren't paying as much attention as the last one," Slayer mused. "I can fix that easily enough," Goten replied, bringing up more of his energy to sustain the super saiyan two state. After a moment, Goten noticed that Elohssa wasn't coming toward the battle, but was actually moving away from it. That meant that he needed to keep the violence from getting too close to Dende and the others. Goten launched a fist-sized ki blast at Slayer. The blast was easily deflected, but Goten flew in with a sidekick at the same time. Slayer managed to stop the attack from maximizing on damage, forcing Goten to jump back. ********** The ending of that scene sucked majorly. . ... I guess I will think on a Tecarlin post now...

The inky liquid goo in the form of a puddle on the ground took shape into the familiar form of Blot, the Klidorian warrior. Black smoke rolled off the impact points of the Tahea Fireworks burst executed by Liquaro and Rani. He patted himself off, then formed one of his hands into a long, sharp blade.
"I didn't like that very much..." Blot said as he charged at the twins, the blade raised in preparation to strike.

In recovering from their attack, the twins barely had a chance to move. They jumped away from each other, but Blot's speed allowed the blade to catch Rani across the arm and knock him into a wall. Liquaro caught himself to fly in with an energized kick, but the blow had no effect other than to get him closer to Blot's next attack. While regaining his balance, Rani threw a weak ki blast at Blot's arm, causing the strike against Liquaro to hit him in the shoulder with the flat of the blade; although he was still sent to the ground, the damage was minimized, but now blot was between the two. *** O.O, I can't think of what to do next... . Aldran pulled open the heavy double doors that framed the entrance to Kikyo's portion of the complex. His eyes widened and his mouth went slack for a second before yelling an audible "Shit!" and slamming the doors closed again. Energy fire ricocheted off the doors and the incoming guards on the other side began to slam into them, attempting to break them down.
Aldran threw his own body on the doors, pushing against the direction they opened in an effort to keep the guards out long enough for Aldran to give the others his warning.
"Captain Krysalor... he's about 15 seconds away. Once he gets here... we're in for one helluva fight. But if I remember the layout of this place correctly, if you guys were to blast through the cieling, there may be a larger room above us that might give us more of a tactical advantage."

*** Geh. It just seemed appropriate.
I think we might have to think about the order of some scenes in the fic version so that we don't have it jumping around so randomly. That works for here, but in fic form it might confuse and/or turn people away if it's chaotic cutscene after cutscene... ya know?

"There might be, but something tells me if we stay in this room, we're going to get decimated. We need to think of something, and quick!" The pounding at the door grew louder as more guards tried to force it open, but Aldran held it without wavering. They needed every second they could get.
