As the flood of sparks from Kejek's wand coursed through both Slayer and Goten, the half-saiyan that held onto the Klidorian began to notice a change in how his opponent was struggling. Slayer's body seemed to be vibrating with energy, almost as though it was a field of energy rather than matter, and his attempts to break free of Goten's hold were becoming more sporadic and less focused. Hoping this was a good thing, Goten pulled back, feeling a dampening in the gigantic tingling feeling that was filling his body, and kicked Slayer in the middle of the torso, causing him to fall to the ground limply. Kejek lowered his wand, the intense look of concentration fading from his face.
"Is he down for the count," Videl asked, "Or is he just knocked out?" "Either way he won't be bothering us anymore today," Goten answered as his breathing started to return to normal, "Now we should probably help the others."
"You used up a lot of energy in that fight," Alex warned, "Attacking the leader now would be suicide."
"But I'm sure that if he was petrified it'd make a bit of difference," Kejek said, "And that'd mean it's ninja time."
****
An odd, metallic echoy sound was coming from the surroundings, seemingly from multiple sources. Katar didn't get to see them though, as she was preoccupied by the dark, caped figure holding the sword to her throat.
"You recovered quickly," came the voice of the staff-wielder from behind. "Am I supposed to recognize you?" the sword-wielder asked hostilely. "No," the other answered, "But you should get to know Moyagu over there." The dragon seemed to have recovered from the mortal wound that it had been dealt, and it was now crouched in the room, struggling to fit.
"You see, Saiyan," the staff-wielder said, now closer to Katar, "Moyagu is a yasha-tabe. The yasha-tabe feed on evil spirits, a sort of natural cleansing force for their home planet. But purifying those energies takes a while, so if something say, pierces the yasha-tabe's stomach, the evil energy might escape. Unfortunately for you, that happened at the site of a rather important battle in recent history. And Moyagu is very efficient at dealing with evil spirits, so it looks like that injury caused the entire dark fortress to be restored. Of course, Moyagu is now hungrier than ever; that's what happens when you lose your lunch."
Katar spun, throwing up a hand to grab the blue-skinned warrior, but she found the staff striking her in the shoulder, causing her to fall back and take a shallow cut from the sword of the other.
"Ecliptor," the staff-wielder said, "Care to test your forces?" Katar attempted to jump out of such close quarters of the two, but green bolts of light shot from the sword-wielder's eyes and caused her to fall to the ground.
"Quantrons," the one called Ecliptor called, "Restrain her." The metally vocalizations drew closer as Katar looked up to see odd alien figures closing in on her from all around. Suddenly, the circle closing around her was gone from her focus as the eyes of the dragon appeared above her. Katar yelled and jumped up, uppercutting the dragon in the snout, but it quickly snapped its jaws on her side, its teeth seeming to pierce her body as she screamed.
"It seems you haven't lost your touch," came a raspy voice from somewhere else.
"Darkonda!" Ecliptor shouted, turning to face the other way, "You may have been restored by this dragon's energy, but consider it a temporary luxury!"
Katar couldn't tell what followed; her senses were blending into a spiral of fog as she fought to break free of the dragon's hold. She soon realized that less of her body was in contact with the outside, but even that was lost in the cloud of vague fire that was consuming her.

Dende found himself beginning to tire from the energy he was putting into healing Kairin. Even after all of the time he had been trying, he couldn't tell if it was going to work, and the explosions and crackles of energy from the battle with Commando Jo weren't getting any more distant.
Kairin suddenly convulsed, eyes opening frantically as he struggled to take in a very large breath too quickly.
"Stay calm," Dende warned, "You're nowhere near recovered..."
"Katar!" Kairin's breathing was comparable to that of a child in mortal terror.
"If you don't calm down you'll hurt yourself," Dende warned. Kairin seemed to be struggling not to scream as he fought for control of his breathing.
"Dende," he finally said, "What's… hap…pened…"
"You were hit in a fight with one of the invaders," Dende explained, "And--"
"No!" Kairin broke in, "Not that…"
After a second of wondering, Dende finally understood what he meant.
"... Katar?" The guardian closed his eyes and focused, looking for Katar's energy signature. What he found seemed to be fading... or rather, dissolving quickly. But that isn't what bothered him the most.
"Those… powers…" Dende said, opening his eyes in shock, "I thought they were gone…"
"What!" Kairin demanded, starting to push himself up onto his elbows, "What is it?"
"It just never ends," Dende sighed, "With every enemy that we defeat, another takes its place..." Kairin nearly jumped to his feet, but Dende pushed him back down. "I'm not sure... but it looks like we're in deep without help from the Unifier."
"Uni…fier?" Kairin wondered, starting to breathe more normally, "What about Katar?"
"Her energy is disappearing," Dende answered, "But I can't tell why..."
"Dende!" It was the voice of King Kai.
"I hope you know what's happening, King Kai," Dende responded.
"Unfortunately," King Kai continued, "It looks like the evil energy contained within the dragon that Katar and Elohssa were fighting has been released, and has revived one of the greatest weapons of the United Alliance of Evil, along with a few of its operators."
"We've been fighting for ages now with little reprieve," Dende said, "We aren't ready to hold off another attack. We aren't even done with these guys!"
"It could get worse if the master of the Dark Fortress takes a side," King Kai said firmly, "And there are former conquerors associated with the UAE that now push the agenda of the Unifier elsewhere in the universe. Should they reunite, saving the Earth will be the least of your worries!"
"King... Kai?" Kairin asked, no longer trying to sit up, "What happened to..."
"The dragon got her," King Kai said, "It would take a miracle that I can't grant to save her now. But remember what you fight for; remember that this is about more than even the universe! If you can't deal with this threat, then MemKarostlous has already won. Dende, I suggest you wake Yabu's kids; you're going to need all of the help you can get very soon."
*****
OOC: Once again, my post turned OCD. o.o. Things shouldn't explode out of control though, so... yeah, the rest of this saga shouldn't be too screwed up.
*****
Elohssa's feet touched the ground softly as he landed. Katar and the dragon had both disappeared from sight completely, leaving him to watch the confrontation via his energy scanners. But the outpouring of evil that the dragon had once contained was something new, something that almost seemed to cast a haze of interference across the orbit of the Earth. He managed to pick up several above-average powers igniting out of the evil mist, along with two that were far superior to the others. He lost track of Katar's power completely as the new forces began to take hold. He could only assume that Katar had managed to critically wound the dragon, something he had wanted to avoid at all costs.
Since he was too far away to do anything at the moment, Elohssa turned his attention to the events elsewhere on the Earth. He noticed that the immense power of Aro had moved very quickly, some peculiar geological activity in the same area. It seemed that the power of his opponent had dropped dramatically, so Elohssa assumed he had been knocked out. He noticed that another of the invading powers had likewise dropped, but the last was still at large.
Hoping for no further distractions, Elohssa took flight and started heading toward the battle that was still taking place.

Cyba doubled over in pain as a powerful explosion of evil energy signatures erupted in his head. He threw his hands down onto the green ground of the Chaos Dimension to prevent his face from smashing into it. Huffing and puffing for a few seconds, he looked up at Enerjak, who stood poised above the Saiyan, looking as if he had just been ready to strike.
"What's wrong with you?" Enerjak asked as he withdrew, impatience playing on his face. "Look, if you're going to die already, you are of no use to me. If you're done, I'll just kill you and get your son to take your place. I have no time to train a weak fool."
Gasping, Cyba snarled at the man. "Don't tell me... you can't feel... that wicked... powerful evil... that just appeared?"
"Of course I can. Although I can't be sure if you mean Terra Dax or Ecliptor and the others on Earth. Now get up or I'll kill you." Cyba stood to his feet, seeming to regain control over himself.
"I need to go help them. My friends, the other Earth warriors..."
"They will have to fend for themselves," Enerjak snapped. "I don't think you understand the severity of the situation. The Unifyer has a massive head start on you. Trust me, when I was one of the Four Heralds of MemKarostlous..."
"You were an underling?" Cyba shouted cutting him off. "How the hell do I know I can trust you now?"
"You can't, damn it!" Enerjak shouted, kicking Cyba in the face. Cyba crashed to the ground, but barely had the energy to get back up. He propped himself up with his hands behind him, slowly building up what Chaos Energy he could manage in the state he was in. "And don't interupt me again. I'm not a hero like you, Saiyan. I was one of the Four Heralds, the highest rank of underling, but I did not really want to see the Unifyer destroy my universe just to obtain power. There was a young hero that had tapped into the power the Unifyer seeks, the only one we have ever known to do so. I joined his effort to destroy the Unifyer, using my Chaos Energy skills to put a stop to this madness, but the young one died from the strain of taking in too much energy and was literally ripped out of the fabric of time and space because of it. That is the danger of what you are attempting to do. There was not even a soul to enter the Otherworld left of him."
"So you are no longer in with the Unifyer, right?" Cyba asked carefully. "You want him to fall?"
"I do," Enerjak replied. "Now get up. We don't have time for this. Either listen to me or die. There is no third choice. Now I'm going to teach you how to use Chaos Energy to heal yourself, but it will only work here in the Chaos Dimension..."

Round 2, fight! ********** "Watch your feet!" Rani suddenly shouted. Kone didn't move, but took note of the puddle of ink that had materialized on the floor behind her. "Can that reform?" Liquaro asked. "We shouldn't give it the chance," Calcutro stated, launching a blast at the puddle that created a small explosion that almost caused Kone to drop the forcefield that held the other part of Blot in place. A smoke-like cloud of inky threads rose up from the blast, forming into a small canon and sending diminished ink-projectiles at the group. Liquaro jumped into the air and started striking with energy-charged hands, attempting to deflect as many of the projectiles as he could. Rani teleported behind the canon and sent a ki blast into it that caused it to fall to the ground and splatter, starting to reform into an amorphous mass. Calcutro quickly stepped forward and released an energy wave that raced along the ground, hammering the rimnent of the ink into oblivion. *** OOC: Umm... there are two ways I can finish this scene... but I don't really know which is best, so I'll let Wolfstar pick... . Either Blot in the forcefield escapes because the action made the forcefield drop, or he doesn't and they decide what to do next (How to deal with Blot, helping Gohan, finding the missing rings... whatever). BIC: ********** Ioru was awe-stricken at the speed of the exchange. Before the crystal had come close to the struggle, Captain Krysalor had been thrown into its path. But even more amazing was that even in recovering from the attack, Krysalor was able to project an energy field behind him that diverted the crystal's path, sending it instead toward Gotenks. "Nice try!" Krysalor shouted as he regained his footing. Ioru regained himself in time to fire another crystal, this one aiming at Gotenks. Although Gotenks was already moving to avoid the first, the two crystals collided and merged in a flash of light, flying back toward Ioru. Ioru took several breaths, trying to comprehend the level of power that the fighters in the area possessed. He then moved to Aldran's side and spoke quickly and quietly: "I do't know how he deflected a crystal like that, but it seemed to require his attention. We'll need to get an opening long enough to hit him with a clear shot." ***** O.O, that feels weak... let me know if I messed anything up and I'll try to fix it... ***** "Now now, Ecliptor," the red-faced alien said coolly, "Fighting now will get us nowhere, especially considering that now... it looks like the crown goes to me." "What?" Ecliptor didn't lower his sword, keeping his threatening glare. "Rules of war, my friend," the other said, "He who takes the monark becomes the new king. Therefore I, Darkonda, am now the monark of all evil!" "Not for long," Ecliptor said defiantly, preparing to make an attack with his sword. "Hey!" A gray-skinned creature with a ridiculously tall head came running into the room, "There's some crazy fighting going on down on Earth!" "Hahaha!" Darkonda laughed, "Well, it looks like I'm in charge here after all!" He walked after the newcomer as Ecliptor followed, his sword still at the ready. Darkonda stood before a viewing area elsewhere in the Dark Fortress, the tall-headed lacky beside him. The viewscreen flashed over various images: two women fighting a white-armored being, a person--cyborg by the look of him--flying across the planet, two warriors bursting from the ground... "There," Darkonda said, raising a hand when the red-clad, black-skinned alien was knocked to the ground, "That one looks promising. Fire the satelasers!" ********** OOC: Man, I hope that wasn't too confusing. ********** Aro let his feet rest on the pavement as he surveyed his location. It seemed that he had burst into a mostly abandoned city, most of its buildings in tact with a few exceptions where craters and debris left gaps in the skyline. Deciding that he had plenty of fusion time left, Aro decided to make a quick morph into Buu to take care of his wounds from the battle with Shadow Walker. He took note of the energy coming from the other battles, and realized that the fighting would soon be over; he might not even need to join the fight with the other Klidorians. As his skin returned to normal after the Buu morph, Aro was knocked into a wall by a sudden rush of energy. Twin beams of light, seemingly from the sky, converged on Shadow Walker's limp form. The Klidorian warrior began to get to his feet, simultaneously increasing in size. "What... is he doing?" Aro said in astonishment as Shadow Walker continued to grow, stopping once he towered fifty feet over the city. Shadow Walker moved his arm, seeming a little confused by the transformation. Then he slammed his tail into a building, causing half of it to fly off and crash into another, narrowly missing Aro. "You're just a bigger target," Aro shouted, "This fight is still over!" On the last word, Aro took flight, rushing toward Shadow Walker's head. He was caught by a huge ball of ki that sent him crashing through a wall that quickly exploded around him. "So his power went up too," Aro observed as he got to his feet, "Well, I guess I'll just have to make this quick!" He began to power up, lightning cracking the air around him. Before he could do anything else, however, one of Shadow Walker's giant feet slammed into him, throwing him through a couple more buildings. ********** I don't like this post for some reason. *runs from giant Shadow Walker*

Gohan watched the stream of magma, waiting for any sign of movement. He had a plan, one he was unsure of, but still a plan nonetheless. As he watched, the lava in front of him bubbled up a bit. He drew his fist back, ready to put his plan into motion as soon as he saw Miliardo.
Miliardo did not burst out of the magma though. The bubble became a ball of lava that shot toward Gohan, catching him off guard. He threw his fist forward, calling on the water ring to cool the liquid rock back into its solid form. It dropped in front of him, a solid stone ball and no longer a threat. Gohan watched the magma once more, taking care not to be too close to it in case Miliardo tried that tactic again.
The ground began to split behind Gohan as Miliardo burst to the surface, the magma dripping off of him in streams. His sword, while completely intact despite the lava, was white hot, creating waves in the air around it. Gohan reached out with the water ring once more, this time forming rock around Miliardo. He simultaneously called on the stone ring to aid the process, creating an elemental prison around the Klidorian warrior. Miliardo struggled, but Gohan had too good a hold on the man for him to get away.
"So what now, Gohan?" he asked as he stopped struggling. "Are you planning on killing me?"
"I would rather see you fight on the side you belong," Gohan replied, not letting his hold slide in the least. "You are from Earth. You should be with us, not Clidax."

Calcutro cursed to himself, his robot components humming after his last discharge of energy. Aside from the parts that had been destroyed, Blot managed to escape. The Tecarlin could no longer feel any energy signature from the Klidorian warrior. Blot must have had some means of teleporting away, perhaps like a Wind Stone, Calcutro thought.
However, he could still pick up Gohan and Miliardo's energy signatures. Their fight seemed to have ceased, but Gohan's energy was at a spike, as if he were still in a state of output.
"There's nothing more we can do here," Calcutro told them. "Blot is gone and we have much to take care of."

"M-Master..." Blot croaked as he attempted to form a body. His energy drain had been too great for him.
"You're a useless puddle of ink sometimes, you know that?" Clidax growled as he strode over to the black pool on the ground in front of his chamber that was Blot.
"Please Master... help me..." Blot groaned, once again trying in vain to form a body.
"You've lost a lot of body mass, you fool. When will you learn to dodge energy attacks? You know you are weak agaisnt them." Clidax jabbed his large sword into the ground next to him, then passed a hand over the area above Blot. "I'm going to send you to a stasis tube. After you heal, I will deal with you." The last words were nothing short of a threat, but Blot could not even summon the energy to quiver. With a flash of light, the puddle was gone.
Clidax pulled his sword out of the ground and went back over to his throne to overlook the battle at the temple. It seemed that the heroes were no match for Terra Dax at all, just as he had imagined.
"Sir, we're losing on Earth and Tecarlin," Morlagan told his lord.
"Miliardo is trapped, Blot was defeated, and Slayer was shut down from an electic overload," Fralagan added.
"How are these weaklings defeating my army?" Clidax growled, jabbing his sword into the stone floor once again, this time out of anger.
"That's not an entirely accurate account of what's been going on," a figure in a long black cloak told Clidax.
"When did you get here?" the Klidorian ruler asked, his eyebrow raised slightly.
"I've been here for several minutes, Clidax. You're getting old if you couldn't tell." He laughed slightly as he stepped in more toward the light. He did not lower the hood to his cloak, but the three assembled before him could tell that he was either a human or a Saiyan, or some hybrid of the two. "It seems the United Alliance of Evil has taken an interest in your minion Shadow Walker. I do not know if he is working for them or if they are merely using him, but either way, you're one short because of that. Commando Joe will be routed shortly. Pahn and Anoreha aren't playing around with him. I suspect he will come back here sniveling to you within ten minutes. And Captain Krysalor is in a most precarious situation with the permanent fusion known as Gotenks."
"How do you know all of this?" Clidax asked, grabbing his sword and taking several steps toward the man in front of him. Morlagan and Fralagan each took one of his sides, preparing to strike if it became necessary.
The man laughed, his chuckles echoing off the high ceiling of the chamber. "I make it my business to know all that happens with my fellow Underlings of the Unifyer. I'll admit... I only came here to gloat. I know how much you wanted these, but they are mine now." The man held out a hand, revealing fifteen golden rings in the palm of his hand. "And the delivery boy, that invisible former henchman of Cort... he works for me now."
"Who the hell are you?" Clidax demanded. "Answer me!" He thrusted his sword in the man's direction, his face displaying a scowl of purest hatred.
"Just a simple warrior seeking revenge on the universe for taking the only things that mattered to me. Now take that sword out of my face or I'll make you wish Gareus had taught you some manners."
"Those Rings of Power should be mine!" Clidax shouted, throwing himself at the man, his sword held back in preparation for a savage swing. The cloaked man raised the palm of his free hand at Clidax and threw a ball of flame at him, flinging him away as if he were a ragdoll. In the same fluid motion, he sent a wave of energy bursting radially outward, throwing the space pirate twins away as well.
With another laugh, he looked at Clidax. "I warned you." After the last word was spoken, he was gone.

Ah! Beat a giant monster with a bigger Giant Monster! ... *doesn't know where to find one of those*
*****
"Who... are you?"
"Dende," the Namekian standing over them replied. Shaoten supported herself on her elbows, blinking until her eyes came into focus. How long had she been out?
Beside her, Kyu was stirring as well.
"What happened?" Kyu asked groggily, looking around at his surroundings.
"Satan Clawz pulled a kamikaze," Dende explained, "You've been out for quite a while from that explosion. A couple days to be exact; we've already been fighting a new enemy, and it looks like someone else has joined the fray in the past five minutes."
"A little more detail would do wonders," Shaoten said, now sitting up completely.
Dende recounted yet again the connection between the Hermalyan Empire and the allusive MemKarostlous, finally leading to the attack from Klidorian forces, Gohan's trip to Tecarlin, and the sudden reappearance of the United Alliance of Evil. By the time he'd reached the end, Goten, Videl, Alex and Kejek had arrived, and Kairin had pulled himself to his feet, standing near a tree.
"How do we get to where this alliance is?" Kairin demanded.
"Slow down," Dende commanded, "I know what you're after, but there's no way you're ready to rush into battle with the United Alliance of Evil, especially with so much trouble still going on down here."
"We're all kind of worn out from fighting these guys," Alex added, "If we can help it, we need to avoid another battle for the time being."
"We still need to figure out what happened to Trunks and the others," Videl reminded them, "We've got a lot to worry about besides that guy." She indicated Commando Jo. Kairin's skin darkened, gradually becoming jet black as everything around him grew darker.
"I see what she meant now," he said, his voice making it clear that beneath the shadow that his energy-gathering was creating, his lips were quivering, "They just won't quit... eternal peace... has to be somewhere besides death."
"Do we have any idea what that gem did to everyone?" Kyu broke in, "Or... maybe we can get it from him and find a way to reverse it?"
"Getting it wouldn't be too hard," Kejek said, "Using it... I don't know." He then raised his wand and muttered something, and after a few seconds, Kairin's quadblade came soaring through the air to land in Kejek's hand.
"You might need this," Kejek said, handing the quadblade to Kairin, whose light-absorption slowed slightly as he took it. Then his color returned to normal, save darkened patches along his cheeks.
"We're going to have to split up," Kairin said, "There's too much at stake to avoid it."
"We're a lot stronger when we're together," Goten reminded him, "And we don't have a means of gauging the true power of what we're up against." Kyu and Shaoten were now standing.
"You think maybe we should help fight that guy?" Kyu suggested, referring to Commando Jo.
"You two have full energy," Dende pointed out, "And if you've got any of your father in you, you'll have gotten stronger after taking Satan Clawz's explosion and going so long without being heeled. Pan and Anoreha can probably handle Jo on their own, and if not, someone else can jump in. It's better to keep you two out of this fight so you can conserve your energy for later, since you'll probably be the only ones at full power."
"Shall I try the old magic on Commando over there?" Kejek asked.
"I'd be careful," Dende said, "But if you go from a safe location, there isn't much to lose; you can at least be a distraction if it doesn't work."
**********
Aro dodged another of Shadow Walker's blasts, jumping up to the tops of what buildings were still standing to get a better shot at the Klidorian giant.
"I'm still suggesting you quit," Aro shouted, "You've got nothing to gain from continuing this--" Shadow Walker knocked a lamp post from the street at Aro with his tail, knocking the fused warrior off of the building on which he was standing and to the concrete lot beside it.
Aro got to his feet, his eyebrows starting to edge closer to one another. Shadow Walker was the first person to actually do any damage to him.
"Fine!" Aro jumped into the air, raising his hands over his head, "Then no more games!" He brought his hands in front of him as light surrounded his upper body. "Geno Kamehameha!"
The energy rushed at Shadow Walker, striking him in the chest and causing him to stumble back, nearly falling through an entire block in the process. Aro finally let up on the blast, but then he noticed that there were two giant Shadow Walkers filling up the streets.
"Oh great... his duplicates are giant, too!" Aro turned and launched himself away from the Klidorian power, hoping to find somewhere that he could power up, but instead he found himself trapped by an invisible hand as a third Shadow Walker returned to visibility in a battered intersection.

"You're wasting our resources," Ecliptor scolded, glaring at Darkonda.
"Now, surely Ecliptor, you wouldn't want someone as powerful as that still standing to fight against us," Darkonda said, indicating where Aro was visible in the view, now in the grasp of one of Shadow Walker's giant duplicates.
"We can't trust these random aliens," Ecliptor argued, "Use them to clear out opposition on Earth, but then what will they do?"
"Calm yourself," Darkonda said slyly, "The only reason he's strong enough to hold onto that little warrior is because of my intervention. As soon as he's done, that power can be removed. You see, we're winning and I've only issued one command!"
*******
Aro struggled for a moment, noting that Shadow Walker's strength was only just enough to hold him. Instead of fighting any more, he relaxed, letting his energy recover from the fighting. The other two Shadow Walkers were walking toward the one that held Aro, the pavement booming and bending beneath their feet.
Aro closed his eyes, letting his mind focus only on what was within. Then, he brought it out in a massive explosion of energy, throwing all three shadow Walkers away.
Aro hovered in midair, a golden aura surrounding him and casting great light onto the remains of the city. His fur was no longer white, but blazing gold as power coursed through him.
"I know we don't like over using our aces," Aro said, "But sometimes inspiration works in strange ways." He then flew in a flash at the Shadow Walker that had held him, piercing one of its arms and kicking it in the back. Before that victim had reached the others, Aro had phased quickly between them, releasing a blazing golden strand of webbing from below each arm and snagging both of the duplicates. He then tensed his muscles and shouted, causing both of the giant Shadow Walkers to fly into the air and collide.
All three duplicates met in midair with a huge flash, falling to the ground as one, still giant Shadow Walker.
"I guess this is why you attacked, huh?" Aro said, almost as a taunt, "You didn't want me to do this!" He flew as a blaze of gold, blasting through Shadow Walker's right shoulder as the giant Klidorian's mouth opened in shock. Aro then spun and landed a series of punches and kicks to Shadow Walker's back before kicking him off of his feet, causing him to fall to the ground with a tremendous crash.
"Don't give up yet!" Aro called, "I'm just getting warmed up!"
Shadow Walker got slowly to his feet, turning to slam his tail into Aro. Aro brought out a huge amount of energy, deflecting the attack effortlessly.
"You don't seem to get it!" Aro said, smirking, "All right; then get a look at my full power!" Aro shouted as the buildings around him began to tremble and crumble, lightning striking all throughout the ruins of the city and beyond as what seemed like a great Tifoon formed around the fused warrior in the sky.
"You're just wasting energy!" Shadow Walker shouted, "Showing off will get you nowhere!" He released a large burst of ki from his good arm, but Aro held up his energy to deflect it.
"You'll have to do better than that!" Aro declared, sending out huge blasts of energy into the air. Most of them flew into the sky, doing no damage to anything, but some struck Shadow Walker, finally causing him to fall back in a great ball of fire. When the smoke cleared, Shadow Walker was nowhere to be seen.

"United Alliance of Evil... here?" Commando Joe asked himself as he jetted to the right, evading a fierce punch from Anoreha. However, he was unsuccessful in dodging the ball of energy that Pahn threw at him. The ball crashed into his chest and forced him back to the ground, cracking his white armor. He jumped out of the way as Pahn came at him for a follow up strike and began to build some energy of his own.
He decided he had to get out of there, and quick. The United Alliance of Evil was not a group he wished to get mixed up in, as Shadow Walker already had. He thrust his orb of energy out in front of him, which broke instantly into two pieces, one that flew after Pahn and one for Anoreha. As Commando Joe rushed off to retrieve Slayer's body, he could see that the balls of energy had already split several times, creating an airborne obstacle course for the two female warriors. He hefted Slayer onto his shoulders and ran for the cover of the trees, not wanting anyone from the United Alliance of Evil to spot him. "Please have mercy, Master Clidax," he whispered as he withdrew a small, smooth stone from a compartment attached to his pants. In a flash of light, the two of them were gone.

Aro hovered in the air, watching the spot where Shadow Walker had fallen curiously. Then he took off, flying in the direction of the powers of the others, which were now gathered in one place. All but one that seemed suspiciously absent.
Aro stopped in midair, searching for the energy that he was having trouble finding. How could it be gone? Weakened, perhaps... but could it possibly be destroyed?
Aro finally locked onto a signal that seemed to feel right, but it was weak, distant, and diminishing. Something felt very unnatural about the whole ordeal.
Aro took off to the north, flying toward the desolated region where the RDF base had once been located. The air was still insanely warm, though the heat from Satan Clawz's explosion was spreading out and heating the tormented Earth with each passing day.
Aro came to hover over the spot at the center of the crater, where his blast had collided with the RDF's top warrior just before the kamikaze attack. The fused warrior gritted his teeth and focused, drawing his power out around him and causing the blistering air to churn violently, finally forming an intense vortex around him. Aro screamed, drawing in the intense energy that had plagued the Earth and focusing it into the center of his great storm, sending up jets of it up through the atmosphere, piercing the layers of heat-trapping gases and blasting into space. Aro didn't stop until he had drained a significant amount of excess energy from the area, the chaotic wind starting to cool as the unnatural power was taken from it.
Aro then landed, somewhat winded by the effort of channeling so much ambient energy that wasn't his. He let his feet rest on the very section of rock that he had landed on after the battle only days before, not risking disaster when his fusion time expired.
"She's not gone yet," he said to himself, "And after all that she did... she'll last long enough for someone to find her."
Then, an explosion of energy threw Aro past the Nou-anise chasm and to the northern edge of the crater. Lying on his back, Aro smirked up at the source of the blast: a still-invisible Shadow Walker.
"You just won't give up, huh?" Aro spoke calmly, "I hope your master takes that into account if you ever meet again." Aro pushed himself up with his hands, flying toward the invisible Klidorian. He landed a punch, but soon found himself caught once again in Shadow Walker's grasp. Aro gave a shutter and was suddenly taken with light, leaving Shadow Walker with Shairo and At held together uncomfortably in his clutches.

This page is nearing its end...

"If we attack them now," Ecliptor said, "They'll both fall; the alien is weakened from the fight, and the other two are helpless."
"You saw as well as I how much energy that fused warrior was needlessly wasting," Darkonda replied, "Either he's incredibly stupid, or he's up to something. I think we'll let that story play out on its own from here; there will be much to gain from observing. As for the others..." Darkonda tapped a control and the view switched to show the Earth's warriors gathered near the site of the recently ended battle with Commando Jo, "They are completely vulnerable; weakened from the battle, and in an area with enough cover for a gurrilla attack."
Ecliptor moved to speak, but the tall-headed lacky stepped closer.
"We've got someone coming in from the direction of the Vika galaxy," he said, "And it looks like they're heading for the Earth's moon!"
"Do you have identification?" Ecliptor asked.
"Not yet," the gray-skinned alien answered, "But we should get a better look at them soon..." Darkonda walked past the informant and manipulated some controls on another bank of equipment, bringing up an image of the rocky surface of the Earth's moon.
"Whoever it is will answer to me," he said wickedly, watching as the shadow of a tall palace came into view.
"Hey, it looks like they're back from vacation!" the tall-headed one said, observing a gold-armored being on a balcony of the palace. The view wasn't zoomed in enough to tell much, although the armored one seemed to have black wings protruding from his back.
"Vacation?" Darkonda chuckled to himself, "No... they've been expanding their territory in the southern quadrant."
"What reason would Lord Zedd have for returning to his chamber of command," Ecliptor wondered, "Unless he's either renewing the attack on Earth, or retrieving something?"
"Either way, it will not interfere in my plans," Darkonda stated, "Elgar, open communications."
"No problem!" the gray-skinned alien responded, manipulating some controls as the view changed to show a figure standing near the railing of the palace balcony. He was tall, seeming to be covered in red muscle rather than skin. His chest was covered in a metallic exoskeleton, his waist, feet, wrists, and a few veins along his arms and legs covered in the same material. It was unclear whether or not he had eyes, as that area of the face was covered by a deep red visor. The same can be said for his mouth, as the lower portion of his face was covered in a darker metal grill. What was visible was the red brain-like shape of the rest of his head, and the red-and-silver crown that was adorned with a short metallic horn, topped with a small Z-shaped point. He was holding a staff, topped with a large Z, a spade-like point on the other end. He seemed to be watching the others that were present, though they could not be seen from the Dark Fortress's view.
"Who are you?" the person in the view demanded, his voice rough and powerful.
"This is Darkonda," came the reply, "Monark of Evil! What is your business here?"
"I don't recall hearing of your coronation," the person with the Z-staff replied in what approached a sneer, "And I certainly haven't heard from the United Alliance of Evil in the past few decades."
"We haven't heard from you either, Zedd," Darkonda remarked, "But I didn't call to catch up on gossip!"
"This palace is again under my control," Zedd anounced, "What I do here is my business. This is merely a pitstop on my journey, but know that my power here will remain."
"Not so fast," Darkonda said, "We've been watching some... interesting events on Earth. It seems that the planet has gone through some rather rough events recently. A group of warriors has just finished a battle there. I think we can agree that these warriors could be a threat to our plans. If we launch a joint attack while they are recovering, this planet will be under are control within the hour!"
"Warriors?" Zedd said, somewhat surprised, "What sort of warriors?"
*****
Holy spaghettiO's, Batman! I cut this off because I'm not sure how to resolve it without screwing things up. And... I get the feeling that it may do way too much...

The air cleared out around the trio as they stepped within a teleportation circle. The sky was pitch black, but there still seemed to be light around them, although Goti could not distinguish a point of origin.
<Stay sharp> Meta told the trio. <We've reached the top, but now we face an even greater challenge that what we've met so far.>
"That doesn't sound good," Bardock muttered as he kept his senses alert for Seru. "Holy Kami!" he shouted, whipping his head around to pick out the power he felt. "This one is almost as strong as Juggernaut!"
"What... what is this?" Vahn asked Meta. He too, could feel the presense that approached.
<The Rogue... that's what it must be... The Rogue.> Palma's telepathic voice quivered.
The giant stone monster stepped into their field of view and bent down, placing it's face on the same level as the three warriors. <Access to Seru-Kai is forbidden to humans. You must turn around now and go back to the human universe.>
"But we must reach the Time Matrix before..." Vahn began, but the Rogue cut him off.
<Walkers of the Mist... this is your last chance. Return to the human universe or I will destroy you. You are not permitted in Seru-Kai.>
"Looks like he isn't giving us much of a choice," Bardock muttered as the three warriors filled their bodies with energy.

Even with Commando Joe's disappearance, the hail of energy balls maintained their ferocity, continually striking at Pahn and Anoreha. The cloaked man watched, perched up on the top of the cliff like a wolf eyeing prey. Yet it wasn't really the two of them he was interested in.
"Now even Lord Zedd has made a return," he muttered, casting his gaze up toward the moon, visible even in the bright afternoon sky. "That's going to substantially slow my plans down. Although... yes, that might work. And I do still have these, thanks to my new loyal henchman." He gave the Rings of Power in his hand a slight rattle before reaching into the bag tied at his waist where he deposited the fifteen powerful relics.
"If I remember right, Lord Zedd fought against a team of super heroes that had... other powerful items. Morphers, I believe they were called. They were powered under various means, but these items... yes, these were the source of the super powers."
The air shifted beside the cloaked man, revealing the form of a Hermalyan soldier, clad in blue armor. "I got them before Gohan did, sir. Do you want them?"
"The Elemental Rings of Fire and Lightning... keep them. I have no use for the elements, at least not artificial forms of them. I just didn't want Gohan to take them, not that he could really stand up to me either way. He's past his prime by a decade or two." The cloaked man stood up to his full height as he watched Pahn and Anoreha knock down the last of the balls of energy, ending the frenzy that Commando Joe had left behind. "I think we need to hide in the shadows a bit longer."
"We are still not ready, sir?" the Hermalyan asked. "These heroes get stronger with every passing battle. They are Saiyan, like you, sir. Surely the earliest chance to strike is the best."
"We are not out to destroy them, Flayk," the cloaked man told his subordinate. "We are here to wait for the Unifyer's orders and gain power in the process. He promised me that he would bring her back and that he would give me a piece of his empire to rule over. I don't give a damn about the empire; you can have it when the time comes."
"So we wait and learn about these morphers then, sir?" Flayk asked as he moved next to the man in the black cloak.
"Yes. We will learn what we can of these morphers and see if we can snatch any more power or supporters out from under Zedd's nose. If we can figure out what he is after and get it first..." He paused for a moment, surveying the battle field far below them. "Until then, we watch."
